They now control ½ of the human colonized planets and it is time they make their move. They want total control and dominance over the galaxy and they will destroy anything and anybody that stands in the way. They are using super advanced spacecrafts and weaponry stolen from an ancient alien Alliance abandoned solar system. Nothing can stop them except the Cain family.
The father, Eric Cain, still is the general of the Marines. He is the most famous warrior in the history of mankind but his son Darius is now the most feared military leader in the galaxy. Darius leads his undefeated Black Eagle mercenary forces. Eric’s other son, Elias, is also a brilliant tactician and leader. They band together to defend their planets. They will fight to free the Milky Way Galaxy from The Black Flag armies lead by the Triumvirate trio of Gavin Stark clones and their desire to control or destroy all humans. The Cain’s are joined by the best military leaders from the free worlds, but are they powerful enough to win this war…..
This book is excellent! It is full of action and the military battles are fierce. Battling on the surface of planets or in space the massive forces fight to the death, evil against good.
I loved this book and it is a great ending for the saga of the Crimson Worlds series. I highly recommend this book to anyone that likes Sci-fi books.
The entire series is worth reading so start from the first book if you haven’t read the series yet. Military sci-fi is my favorite genre and this author is one of the best new arrivals to this type of story.
This story is action filled and it truly is a battle to the end with good versus evil.
I liked the brothers continued lives an over all a great series which I rated 5 stars! Why would anyone not give it a high rating? Glad to see that the Stark trio dead and gone! Other Sci Fy persons should like the end of the series—but on to more excellent write good tales!
Milking the cow is the best description for it.
The events are so forced, and reality facts ignored from one chapter to the next one, adapted to fit the moment, and get another miraculous victory or escape.
The last battle is the worst part of the book by far. The enemy become so unbelievable stupid and weak, and you start wonder how they manage to last for 30 years and conquer half of inhabited space, and how the old buckets are destroying advanced ships by sheer will? Come on...
I am really disappointed, and it was a waste of my time.
The Cain legacy was well drafted, with twists and turns, and reminders of the loyalties we see today with our eleit forces. I look forward to reding the earlier books in the Crimson World.
