The product came in on time excellent I must have misunderstood the description because I thought there would, be three dvd's instead of two. I really wanted the first one the pilot Black Fox since the title said trilogy I thought that meant three. Felt like I missed the beginning and only had the middle and ending of the story.

While these movies were not as gritty as the Matt Braun novel, they are a acceptable trilogy of movies.

Christopher Reeve and Tony Todd are good as the "brothers" that pack up and move to "indian country" to make a new life for themselves. The movies focus on a particular story line that tends to be a little soppy, especially the love story of Running Dog and Ralph's wife.

All in all they are very entertaining movies.

I enjoyed this mainly because of C. Reeves. I kept thinking what a terrible waste of a viable human being with his accident. He is gone from us now but has left some good movies for us to remember him by. This was supposed to a Losesome Dove calliper but I don't think it is. Very good story and scenery but I think there was something in Lonesome Dove that grabbed me. One thing, I'm from Kansas and if you can find country depicted in Black Fox that is anything like Kansas I'll buy the movie for you! I grew up 30 miles from Medicine Lodge and folks it doesn't look like the movie. I have also traveled all over Kansas. Enjoyable series, however.

Not since Lonesome Dove have I enjoyed a western theme as much as this. The story revolves around a very close friendship between two men of opposite races. Their ensuing experiences, struggles and personal growth. I would recommend this movie to everyone including kids. Mainly because of the thought provoking messages it creates regarding we are all created equal. Really love this Triple Feature.

I'm not really into Westerns, but I bought it because of Christopher Reeve, of course.... Still the most BEAUTIFUL man ever existed.... I especially like the love scenes even though there were only a couple... ;-PPPP (sorry, can't help it...)

I bought this trilogy and an extra copy for a friend and,for the most part, consider it a good purchase. It was great seeing Chris Reeves alive and well doing a western with a social message. He must have enjoyed that .Sure do miss the guy!! Great performance, likewise, by Tony Todd who has graduated from fighting zombies to fighting human prejudice. The interracial romance between the white wife of a crusty old man and an Indian brave must have been scriptwritten during the 60"s.If you've seen "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story." you'll see the story of an interracial rrelationship handled with intelligence and credibility.Overall, it was great seeing Indians win, for a change!!

I really enjoyed this series, both the acting and the story. It's a good, old, sit back and enjoy, type of story. I'm not sure that this kind of thing, could have really happened, but, the story is good anyway.

Love this one a lot!!! Running Dog is my favorite. What a body. It doesn't follow history, but when i read the book on the real Black Fox it was depressing. I would rather imagine the movie then the real events.
