Perfect gloves for where I live.

I live in St. Louis. In the winter St. Louis averages about 32° + -10 without much wind or snow. For my climate these gloves are perfect. They are also light, thin, and easy to put on and takeoff. They keep my hands warm enough while allowing me to use my hands as well as if they had nothing on them. I’m sure they make fine liners, but for my purposes they are perfect standalone gloves, as well.

My hand palm up, measure from tip of long finger to middle of first wrist crease very bottom of arm where arm curves up to hand and get about 7 3/4"

Measure glove itself is 9.75" long out of package from bottom of cuff to tip longest finger but after just a few tugs like you do taking off are like 10 1/4".

Glove is exact right length. Will keep.

Also reviewed both Fox River and Serus Innovation gloves. Fox river are 1/4"-1/2" longer. Serus innovation way too small.

Stay warm out there with on your motorcycle

We live in the Northeast part of the U.S. which means a short cycling season for those of us who love to ride. Much of the time it is not foul weather or ice slicked roads that keeps us from rolling out but the cold. We have really good outer gear that we like but knew that the base layer would make the diffrence between heading out for the day or sitting inside. The silk stuff we currently use works great but we wanted to push the envelope and see just how cold it could get and still be comfortable. We also did not want to bother with the expense of heated gear so we decided to try this product.

We went out today, temps ranged between the mid 40's to low 50 degree range. Instead of our heavy weight outer gear we wore our mid weight stuff (mesh jackets with liner in a tee shirt and fleece pants) over this product. That is it. The base layer preformed beautifully. We were dry, comfortable and most importantly warm. Today was supposed to be a short two hour trip but we ended up staying out all day. When we got home and peeled out of our gloves Poly was bone dry as was our skin. Love it.

We are not finished yet. We are waiting for temps in the 30 degree range and will try the product under our heavy gear. I am confident that it will work just fine. Stay tuned.

Large liner

After reading reviews on these liners, I decided to take a risk and try them out - good price for the risk. When I tried them on, I was surprised at how large the "one size fits all" really was. I have medium to large hands (not thick) and the liners are very loose. It's not a problem though, for the most part. I am using them as a liner in my scuba diving dry suit and they work good for that purpose. I also just finished a campout in the snow (with Boy Scouts). I used these liners in my Gortex mitten gloves. Yeah, there was extra room in the liners, but the liners did exactly what I needed - extra warmth. I gave the gloves a 4 because of the sizing issue. As another commented, it would be great to have a smaller size offered.

I would be very hesitant to wear these solo, except maybe for jogging to help reduce that cold bite.

SIZE ISSUES - Otherwise All Right

This seems like an all right product for the price. Not stellar, but fairly durable (bear in mind these are intended for use as liners, not for heavy direct exterior wear). The one-size-fits-all idea is a problem for these, however. If you have large or very large hands, the fit will probably be good. These gloves will stretch comfortably. I have medium hands, and there is just way too much extra fingertip space going on. This really doesn't work well, as it makes ordinary handling tasks more difficult than they already should be with a glove and liner on. I keep trying to shrink these buggers in the laundry, but that is barely happening, if at all (another plus if you have big hands, I guess). I'd like these a lot better if they came in sizes...

Good glove liners

Glove liners were of good quality. The only thing I could really say at this point and why I gave it four stars is that it kept my hands warm to a point. If your hands are cold to begin with do not expect a big warm up. I had to use hand warmers with the gloves to be able to keep my hands warm in 34 degree temps. This is not to say that there is something wrong with them because all of our bodies are different. I just happen to have cold hands and this rating is for me personally.

The plus is that these are sized very well. I have size 11 gloves and these fit my hands and fingers perfectly. When I first put them on they seemed to add some warmth underneath my cashmere lined leather gloves. But after a half hour walk in wind chills in the high teens and low twenties they didn't seem to do much good. I bought them because my fingertips tended to freeze up with just my gloves. But they freeze up about the same with these liners too, so I don't think they actually provide much extra warmth.
