Oakeley, Texas is a town at war with its own outlaw motorcycle club. The Seventy Devils have maintained a strangle hold on the small country town since 1981. Tom "Black Horse" McClain has ruled as the MC's twisted king throughout the Seventy Devils' bloody reign.
There are those who are brave enough to fight back against the Devils. Townspeople who seek to overthrow the MC. Welcome to Oakeley, Texas, where the men are strong, the women are bold, and the Devils are as bad as they come.

Black Horse
Colt McClain and Averi Ford are star-crossed lovers with a twisted past. When they were just children, Colt's father, Tom " Black Horse " McClain, murdered Averi's parents. As the sole witness to the crime, Averi testified against Black Horse, resulting in his incarceration. Twenty years later, Colt and Averi are very much in love, and Black Horse is getting out of jail. With revenge in his heart, Black Horse is coming for the girl who testified against him: Averi Ford. Can Colt protect Averi from his father's fiery wrath?

Broken Road
In the wake of their President's death, the Seventy Devils are out for blood. With rumors circulating that the men responsible for his death are Colt McClain and Randy Ford, Colt's half brother, Jimmy, claims the President's chair and seeks to carry out his father's quest for revenge.

Addison Kline is known for her intriguing novels that keep you guessing from beginning to end and what a treat was it for me to read this duo!! I loved every second of it.

***** I received a copy for an honest review*****
Black Horse:
Colt and Averi have been friends since childhood. All that was destroyed the night Colt’s father “Black Horse” kills both of Averi’s parents and one of her older brothers. She is spared only because the killer doesn’t take the time to check on her. Colt had been living with Averi and her family since the death of his grandmother, also the outcome of “Black Horse”. Averi’s remaining brothers have been blaming Colt for his father’s crimes, even though Colt was a child himself. Time has passed and Colt and Averi are a couple in love. They want her brothers to be ok with their relationship, but realize they have more pressing matters. “Black Horse” is being released from prison and wants to finally finish off the only witness to his crime spree, Averi.
That’s not their only problem, the rest of “Black Horse’s” crew, the Seventy Devils MC have kept the town terrorized while Colt’s dad was imprisoned and she also has to content with jerk customers at the bar she works at, especially Jimmy.
This was a great story. I couldn’t stop reading and was so happy I had book 2 ready to go.
Broken Road:
Colt, Averi and the rest of the family are targeted by the rest of the Seventy Devils after the death of “Black Horse” McClain. They find out that Jimmy, the jerk that won’t leave Averi alone is Colt’s half-brother and proclaims himself president of the MC and is hell bent on carrying out the rest of his father’s plan, the death of Averi.
I really enjoyed these stories from Addison Kline. She is an amazing author, combining wonderful writing with deep characters. I will definitely be reading more by this author.

I enjoyed reading this book. Ms Kline has written a well-developed storyline with very believable characters. This book is one of those you find yourself not want to put down as you are reading it. Almost as if you would miss something. Parts of this series are fast paced and then there are some areas that slow down but not to slow. The friendships that her characters everyone would want know that your friends would fight to the end and always have your back. A true love story. The only thing I did not like about this were the flash backs. Some of them were to long for me. I recommend this series for MC lovers.

Our Blog, Romantic Fanatic, was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
