I fell in love with the main characters Roisin and Kian; Roisin is a journalist, but away from her day job another side of her is revealed.. I was fascinated by the conflict within her of wanting to know more and experiencing more but at the same time being reluctant because of past events....Kian is a man of mystery and in many ways they are worlds apart in terms of their life experience and current needs, but they are both irresistibly drawn to each other and what starts as business swiftly develops into something more.
Black Light is not a series I am familiar with, although I intend to remedy that in the near future, but my lack of previous knowledge did not affect my enjoyment or understanding... this was a steamy and unputdownable 5 star read..I received and advanced copy of this book from the author.
This story stands on it's own but still has the awesomeness of Black Light about it.
Roisin and Kian or Master K were super hot together but it was the emotional journey between these two damaged people that kept me completely enthralled by this story. Don't get me wrong, the sexy scenes were scorching but the emotional parts, her back story and his, melted my shriveled little heart. Felt like the Grinch on Christmas day!!
Will be sharing this one around I do believe!

This isn't what I think of as a "Black Light" book (which was the only reason I picked it up). Our couple visits twice but there isn't any real interaction with the established characters in the series and the atmosphere is lacking.
Kian's job is random: he's a PI but we find out in a throwaway comment 86% in he was in the CIA (um, OK). There are also a few client meetings that do nothing to further to story.
Her best/only friend's return at the end, apparently only because her new boyfriend says Kian loves and misses Roisin, is also a low point. I'd have preferred if Rosie had just checked her email unprompted!
I liked the interaction between Rosie and Kian in person but lack the patience for the Instagram posts. Their scenes were well written and more focus on their relationship with fewer distractions like inheritances and the sudden return of his ex would have made it a much more enjoyable read for me.
I've reread the whole Black Light series but can't see myself going back to this installment.
Roisin’s job at Plush magazine was to write an interview with Master K a photographer who brings submissive forms to life as beautiful art but the elusive Dominant makes it hard to be contacted so Roisin becomes obsessed with the image of him and brings her words to his art.
Kian is fascinated with the innocence of Roisin and wants to capture that in his photos but it he who becomes obsessed and so the chemistry between these characters just sparks off the pages and burns fiercely as you read...def worth more than 5 stars
