I used this documentary as a teaching tool to introduce the Black Lives Matter Movement and my students were completely engaged. The film addresses the origins of the Movement and dispels some of its misconceptions. I highly recommend sharing this film with anyone interested in this modern-day Civil Rights Movement.

Exploitative and sensationalistic. Unethical an poor journalism to mix police killings of unarmed black men with gun violence in the black community.

5.0 out of 5 starsIt's easy to make assumptions, but try to see a different perspective.
Great documentary that delves into the #blacklivesmatter movement. It's interesting to learn about the movement and why it started. To all those who spit back that all lives matter; it is true all lives do matter, but for so long and even today BLACK lives HAVEN'T mattered. To say this is a racist movement shows that those opposed haven't done their research. Ignorance is bliss, but dangerous. Watch the video and really LISTEN to what they're saying.
