Amber is an amazing female character even after all the trauma, angst, and circumstances against the poor woman. I feel so sorry for her my heart is aching and she's a character from a book. I mean she is literally being put through he**!! And her dad is a major douche canoe whom I hope that gets his in the end. Amber deserves so much motte in her life then what's she's been getting for sure. And then to end this book in the way the author did.....not this author much right now bahaha!! 😅
Mason not liking the sexy rock star so much. His circumstances shouldn't give him permission or the right to treat people the away he does. He really needs to redeem himself in the next installment for this avid reader.
This review might seem !like that I didn't love this book but on the contrary I freaking floved it!! When an author can write such a book this good for me is amazing. Please for all that is holy don't make this reader wait very long for book two, I gotta know what happens next.
Seriously readers give this book a chance!!
Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
An author takes a lot of time to plan out their books and write what comes to them and I have all the respect for that. This is my first time reading this author and I do want to say that I wished I could have loved what the author had written. it did not engross me and I couldn't feel connection throughout this book, but I am hoping the author does find an audience for it.
I really don't know how to even give you a review that you would totally understand. I think that this story had so much going on in the story that you could never get your head straight in the book. There was no calm in the story there are so many story lines going on and you don't know which story you are going to get in the next minute. The rock star dad, Mason, a real dbag. I never connected with this character and he was just mean to everyone in the book. He wants what he wants. He hurts who he wants and he wants everyone to cater to him during this book. He was just a complete jerk and would never fall for someone like him. Amber was I don't know. Gullible, hard up, has no clue what love is, I don't know just she was a woman that had so many bad choices in her life that I really don't think that she could make a good one if she tried. I was extremely disappointed in both of the characters in this book. I couldn't find anything that I could feel connected and on top of them they both were hot and cold all the way through this book.
I am not even going to give you a idea of what this book is about. I truly couldn't relate to this book and for that I am terribly sorry. Why I gave it a three is because I did make it all the way through the book hoping that I would see something I would like, but unfortunately there is nothing that could draw me back to this story. It just had too much going on and it jumped all over the place and it made my head spin. For that I am very upset about.
If you do read this book it does end in a cliff hanger, so be aware. You will not know what happens with this whole situation until the next book.
