Oh my goodness me..........I am definitely going to have withdrawal symptoms now that I have finished this book.
I received this book as an advanced copy but I had not read any of the others in the series. I wanted to read all of them before I got to this so bought and downloaded books 1 – 4 on my kindle. What a wonderful experience it has been. I can honestly say that I have loved every book in this series including this one.
This is Yewa and Enri's story. I found this to be so well written both emotionally and trying to keep the story line within the personalities of the characters. It was also quite harrowing, especially Yewa's story and some of the violence made me wince.
Enri is a bad character through and through. Not evil, evil, just an awful selfish, opinionated, self-serving character, he has killed indiscriminately, been cruel beyond words just to get what he wants. I love the fact that Tigris has not made Enri a reformed character and keeps him to his true nature. How can anyone love a character like this? Introducing......Yewa's character. The sweetest, loveliest, damaged almost beyond words, beautiful, gentle and is a healer……but, who, when actually pushed can also be strong. Of course they find love, that is a given, but how they get there was well worth the read.
This is not just a love story though. The plot is starting to unravel, the war is starting to rage, violence is off the charts, the other characters and their growing families are all still involved, there is still breath taking surprising moments and at the end of it you are still left on the edge of your seat wanting to know what it going to happen next.
I can’t believe I am up-to-date in this series and I now have to wait for the next one. Just as well really, as my chores need doing and I suppose I really should speak to my family!!
I can't recommend this series enough and you really should start at book one to get the full impact. Thank you Tigris for giving me the chance to read this book and ultimately making me read the series. You are now one of my favourite authors to read. Love, love, loved reading these books.
Myths, Adventure and Chaos all rolled together.
Erni is in a bad place. Literally. In a dungeon chained down with magical chains and a talking entity saying he is Erebos son of no one, the true beginning of all and his father... And he won't leave him alone. Too make matters worse a slip of a woman named Yewa, comes to him claiming she wants to help him no matter what...Say what? Well he doesn't need that type of help or does he? She is technically a goddess in her own right. And she her past is caused by him. Can he use her in his plans to extract revenge and get the throne that is rightfully his? Or will he loose all including that one person who became special to him in such a short time.
The Shadow Unit knows something is coming, something very, very bad, and they think they know how to stop it and they need the help of Enri. They think they can stop it but the truth is nothing can not even Lord Chaos himself can stop what is coming. In Enri's search for the truth he discovers everything... and along with him Yewa, because she has a feeling she needs to be with him. As Enri starts to remember everything he also comes to realize exactly how special Yewa is, but when push comes to shove will he be willing to give up everything to protect her?
Overall, this book really was awesome. I don't want to go to into it I don't want to give too much away but this book is up on the epic scale, prepare for book hangover. Reading the four books before this one sooo worth it I loved them all.
I have not read the other books in the series yet so I then have to get all caught up with the other books. Enri is definitely a bad guy and he enjoyed being cruel and he has killed. He did all that just to get that what he wanted. Enri also happens to be Hades bastard son, and so he swore that one day he would take (his father) the king of the Under world. Then there is this beautiful gentle healer goddess Yewa and even though she is damaged from all she has suffered but yet continues to be sweet. After they meet then they join forces and it only takes just one kiss and one bite to tie their lives together forever. They not only have to battle to defend the fate of the world, but they also have to fight for their love as well. It was an enjoyable book to read.

Enri is a great character and I loved this story. Yewa was a perfect fit and smoothed out his edges just enough.Read more
