Unfortunately, as it turns out, I am not a professional window film installer, because after applying this black privacy static cling window wrap it looked absolutely terrible! It was very difficult (impossible) to apply evenly, and I've been left with a lot of air bubbles and creases. The problem is that the material is very thin, so any small imperfection is very noticeable (think: one of those self-applied window tint jobs). The other major issue is that it's not completely opaque and does not block out all of the light - I'd say it only cuts it by about 80%. And from the other side of the door, it looks even worse, so unfortunately this was a failed experiment and I'm going to have to take it down and get a professional to install a proper blackout vinyl on my door. Not a bad experiment for the money, but in the end it was a waste.
