What caught my eye first with this novel was its cover design, which I found out was done by the author. Amazing artist and amazing author. The main character Skriker had my heart throbbing from the start, his bad boy rep hitting me hard. And to find he is half human, half demon kinda turned me on even more. Danielle's fight scenes were awesome to say the least and the love scenes quite raunchy, not much being held back I can tell you that.
But what I loved the most was how her characters showed a different side to themselves later in the story. I found it great that Skriker had a soft side hiding under that rough exterior. Although I'm sure he doesn't want that advertised. LOL. The belle of the ball was a hunter named Rose that he meets in a town of vampires and ghouls, and their relationship grows from there.
The only disappointment I found was that it wasn't long enough as it left me wanting more.
Great book, great author, great characters. A must read for any paranormal or erotic fans.
This is a fast paced, action packed love story. Two hunters of things that go bump in the night, goes head to head and ends up crazy about each other, but will the love survive when the truth about both of the hunter’s heritage is revealed? You have to get the book to find out ;)
this is a saucy, juicy, bloody little book that i can gladly recommend!
The story of Striker aka Black Dog and Rose is one of timeless love and soul recognition. I will be reading more of this author to see where this may lead.
Handsome half demon stud
Beautiful half angel woman
Mix with action, hard core type-not for squeamish readers, and you'll have a book that never has a dull moment!
These two should be enemies but instead find they are soulmates. I based my 5 stars on all of above! Kept the light on last night and checked hubby for fangs after reading LOL!
Only issues I had was for a tough guy Skriker cried a few times, didn't seem to be in character for me. And how fast they bonded, quicker for Skriker than Rose.
This book is more from Skriker's POV, a difference from most books I've read in the past.
Kick butt action and steamy scenes will push you past the few flaws in this book.
