Black River is no exception. The action leading up to the final stand, with all the twists and turns along the way, gripped me until I was unable to stop reading. As in all the other books in this series, the characters come to life with ease. It's almost impossible to not become emotionally invested in every single character.
While this book seems to wrap up the Bell Witch storyline nicely, I truly hope it's not really the last book. Each of the main characters could easily star in their own series, though the group dynamic is awesome enough that I hope they can stay together.
Thank you, Sara, for these truly enjoyable books. I hope to see more of these characters in the future, and I'm looking forward to reading more of your work.
This volume wraps up much of the saga that is developed in the first five books. There is an epilogue, so it looks like the end of the series is upon us, but there is also just enough doubt to give us hope that maybe, just maybe, a sequel might be in the works. I hope so.
