Jewish heavy metal music. Some slow, chugging moments that sound like Sabbath/Type O-, other faster songs that have more of a Slayeresque speed metal flair, and other stuff that is somewhere in-between. All of it has a dark uneasiness to it though. Nothing sounds forced and the musicians know their ways around the genre.

An album that will catch a lot of people off guard, including myself. Saft fans beware, this is heavy metal in the purest sense of the word. Very different from his other stuff, but if you go along with it, you'll find a lot to love.

Wow, this is a fantastic piece of music. Reduced to the max - only one piano, one drumset and one bass - but the sound opens a whole new universe of frehs, colorful and yes, bitterly-sweet emotions. I wish I'd be as young when I will be in my 83th year. Borah Bergman is a true artist and an "old cat that knows how to catch mice".-)

Le très grand Jamie Saft, qui est vraiment excellent sur astaroth vol.1, nous livre une autre de ses facettes en jouant du Metal à la gratte ! Une très bonne découverte de la série "Radical Jewish Culture" chez Tzadik
