I have been using hair dyes for years to cover the gray hair, however my I really dislike the amount of water using to rinse the dye off. I like to conserve the world's energy and resources. This hair dye is good because it washes off easier and I got the same coverage as when I am using the dye. And I can do this weekly or biweekly for the grey roots so no one can see. With regular super market dyes, I do it every 3 months but the grey roots are showing starting week 2 or 3. This is more convenient and easier to use.

Stay away from this product if you are looking for allergy free. This product has p-phenylnediamine (PPD) and peroxide. I made this mistake of not reading the ingredients because all the reviews were good - big mistake!!! Yes it works great to get me a nice dark color. But in a matter of minutes of applying to my hair I started having a bad allergic reaction similar to what I got when I used to use Just for Men. Swelling, burning, itching, watery eyes, elevated heartbeat. I had high hopes for this product with all the great reviews, sadly this stuff is not safe for me.

Need to stay it longer if you wear long hair

I used it for the second time yesterday and let it sit there for 30 minutes cause I have long hair. I only let it sit for 5 mins. last time and didn't work too well. It doesn't need to use lot water to rinse and covered all the grey hair very naturally. I have sensitive skin and so far I don't have any bad reaction, might be I just use plan cold water to rinse it well. Hope it last longer before application. No mess unlike those hair color and worth for a try. Highly recommended.

This dye worked better than other dyes I've tried on the whitest hairs.
Tip: Use when hair is partially wet after a shower. When the hair is very moist but not dripping.
Pros:
Comes in small quantities
Fairly easy to get an even dye
Works on very gray hair
Hair feels okay afterwards when used properly
Cons:
Less convenient because you need to mix frequently, but it's for a fairly good reason
Getting the right hair moisture content before getting an optimal outcome took some trial and error

Washed it first..don't scratch cause it did sting..pat it dry till it no longer dripped, put my gloves on, put my head down and added the black shampoo. Whatever dripped in shower washed right off with soap. Let it sit while I showered then rinsed it out about 6 min later and voila no more gray!
