I have been seriously dissapointed with various bluetooth headsets that I have to keep returning for their horrible performance. Out of frustration I have decided to go back to WIRED and I am very satisfied. I was so dissapointed with the bluetooth headsets that I didnt even get this primarily to speak on it but to use it while riding the train while commuting daily in NYC. I have been using the stereo headphones that came with my HP laptop which work great but I am paranoid and to be on the safe side I rarely ever put on both sides, just one to be alert & aware just in case. So I was browsing for a decently priced pair and came across these which were pretty cheap and have good reviews. I have to say for Mono they sound very good, and today I spoke on the for the first time and my girlfriend had no idea I was speaking on the headset and she sounded great. I am here to order a pair for her. My only complaint is that the earpiece is LARGE it barely fits in my ear and kept falling out the first few days, it was so annoying I was getting frustrated, but then yesterday I realized if you use the clip to put on your shirt and it actually works to minimize any movement so it keeps it pretty good in your ear. It would be awesome if it were smaller though. I am 5'7, 145lbs. If you are tall or have big ears these should fit better for you. I use it on an iPhone.

Got this unit as a test to see if would work on another brand phone, and it performed well on my LG enV Touch. Quality is good. Earbud is larger than I care for, but I'm only going to use it as a backup in case my bluetooth bud or my phone are low on battery power. The small button on the microphone functioned to answer and hang up calls after a short delay. For some reason the phone ring tone would not pass into the earbud, but I think that's a bug in the phone, not a problem with the headset.

Another muddy-sounding 3.5mm headset. Incoming audio is fine, but the microphone makes your speech muffled. FWIW, the headset that arrived had no Blackberry logo.

Material misrepresentation. The headset pictured in the listing is not the one that was sent to me. The headset pictured -- with an oblong, elongated mouthpiece -- is the one I've been using for years -- a high quality one. Unfortunately the ones sent to me (I ordered two) are the cheaper, lower-quality ones with a more rounded mouthpiece. I'm not saying that the shape of the mouthpiece is what determines the quality; all I am saying is that these are the two types of mono headsets out there in this category, and I have used both over the years, and the oblong-shaped mouthpiece ones are the high quality ones -- the round-shaped mouthpiece ones are junk, and I have avoided them. Unfortunately this listing displays the high-quality/oblong-shaped mouthpiece headset, but sends out the low-quality/round-shaped mouthpiece headset.

If I could post an image here of what I received so you could see how it clearly differs I would.

And no, I did not contact the seller about this -- these are cheap products and as such not really worth me investing too much time into. Plus I think there would be a good chance that they'd ask me to send the headsets I received back for a refund, which would cost me 1. time and 2. postage -- again, not worth it. My 2 cents,

I just wanted an easy, cheap headset to use in the car so I won't get a ticket for using my cell phone (w/o a hands-free device). I've used this a few times now and have no complaints. The sound quality is totally fine. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to use the button to send/end calls, but it's possible that it just won't work on my phone because I have a Motorola Droid 2. That's fine though for now.

I had previously ordered a 3.5 mm Blackberry headset from Amazon that worked fantastic. The sound quality was great and the construction was sturdy. I lost the headset and ordered a new one from SF Planet. SF Planet shipped me a Blackberry 2.5 mm headset with a 3.5 mm adapter and then claimed that it was the "correct part". Beware if you are expecting a headset that doesn't require a bulky adapter! (I should have read the previous review)

3.5 mm Blackberry headset is great.

SF Planet trying to ship a 2.5 mm headset with 3.5 mm adapter...not great.

If you're looking for wired Blackberry headsets and/or 3.5mm wired headsets in general, steer clear of this one. Although the price is very cheap (about $7 each + S&H) and the product looks good "on paper", the actual product is a complete disappointment. First off, the sound quality is just "ok", at best. (In all fairness, I didn't expect the quality level to be commensurate with something like a Plantronics or Jawbone high-end comparable product). However, I did expect a product that would last at least 6 months....or maybe a little longer. The rubber ear piece comes off constantly, either by getting stuck in your ear or just catching on something and falling off. If it off and is lost, you are left with a hard-edge, plastic ear bud that scrapes the inside of your ear. In additon, the ear bud eventually separates into 2 pieces (breaks apart). I originally ordered 3 of these, due to price and the fact that I have misplaced my headsets in the past - I've now gone through 3 of these in as little as 2 months.
My point being, this is a lesson well learned and I would suggest spending your money on something of higher quality.
