Blackburn was one of the smaller UK firms, which largely made aircraft for the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm. If you're not too old, their best known product is the Buccaneer a formidable strike aircraft from the 60s-80s.
In Putnam style, the gives a concise but detailed history of the firm, as well as detailed chapters on specific aircraft types.
Those sections are backed up with quality three-view drawings, statistics and constructor/serial numbers and registrations.
In short, everything is here.
Blackburn Aircraft had a rich history of inovation and practical application. Mr. Jackson has conveyed this with a forthright admiration of the various aircraft within.
