Say hello to Flea. The lightest, brightest rechargeable cycling light in the world. Now with more charging options and more colors. And as if being tiny and bright weren't enough, Flea lights pack a unique, proprietary charging system, making this truly the next generation in compact commuter lights. Both front and rear Flea's feature four super bright LEDs which have an outpout of over 40 lumens. Fleas are compact and superlight at just 17 grams, which means they can be mounted almost anywhere. The Flea Front uses a no-slip hook-and-loop strap system that makes it easy to strap to handlebars, stems, helmet or even your fork leg. The Flea Rear has both a strap and a built-in belt clip and can be mounted to a seat post, helmet fit system, backpack or chain stay. Not only is the Flea quite possibly the smallest rechargeable cycling light on the market, but it also uses a Blackburn exclusive charging system that makes it truly state-of-the-art.

Any ways, I was so happy with my first flea that I had to get a 2nd with the usb charger. Oh and the original one can use the new usb charger too.
What's great about the flea is that it is very light. It's easy and quick to mount, and while the velco strap is reliable, if you have it too lose, it's not going to hold. You have to make sure it's tight. Overtightening the strap can cause an issue as the velcro might slip through the little tunnel where the velcro goes through. Not to worry however. Like I said I still have the original one from a year's worth of riding...it's more than good enough if you set it up right. I didn't even take off the adhesive backing on back of the velcro strap when I used mine.
Charging time: I have found that it lasted for a very long time especially when I'm conservative. I would estimate 2 hours give or take depending on what setting you use. I would of course, try to use it sparingly as possible when I'd go on say, a 20-40 mile ride of course. If you use the blinking light option the battery will last longer. I find it really nice having two of these mounted on the handlebar for night riding. That way you can go to town if needed on the first one and just have a big light show, and you always have that spare one just in case. The light is amazingly bright at night, especially when it is pitch dark. I remember a pedestrian I passed complained about the brightness of it when passing by him at night. If you think you will need to have the light on all the time because maybe your eyes are bad and you just need it on at all times when you ride, it will probably be best to buy two. I always try to conserve however and just use it when I really need to see. Even on a 2-3 hour night ride one will last me and I'll usually never even touch the second one. But like I said I am conscious to turn it off when I'm in a well lit area or if I'm in a really secluded place I'll leave it on. Rear light of course stays on blinking mode 24/7.
I felt compelled to write a review since some reviews on this have been oddly weak. I mean a 3 star review for this light is some B.S. As someone who has had a positive experience with this light, and knows that it is the best option especially for the size and weight, I would say definitely try one of these before you go crazy and buy some $100-$200 light. This is not only the best light in it's price range, but I'm pretty sure it's better than some of those $100 lights out there.
The light itself is awesome, very bright and holds charge for DAYS (even when not in use). I usually use it in the afternoons on my commute home for about 30mins on "bright" mode, and once a day on my way into work for about 30mins on "flashing" mode. I only have to charge it about once a week.
-The light is roughly an inch by an inch, and comes with a velcro strap. It has been able to fit on every bike I've tried with it.
-Comes with a small USB which allows the light to be charged by a computer.
-The light takes a few hours to charge, and lasts abut as long.
-The USB contains magnets that can hold the light at any angle, so whether you're charging it from a laptop or a desktop, it will hold in place.
-The light is bright and can be made brighter or it can be changed to flash rapidly on and off.
-The light is turned on by a button, so you can easily change the setting without struggling with switches while riding your bicycle.
I strongly recommend this because it is small, effective and almost impossible to have stolen off of your bike, like some other fixed lights since you can just pocket it and take it with you.
It could have been great, but it won't even last through a 10 mile ride, making it useless.
