The Blade Pico QX quadcopter is the smallest heli Blade has ever released and is among one of the most effortless ways to experience RC flight. Thanks to the simplicity of flying with SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology, you'll be piloting this compact quad in no time. With flip mode functionality included, you can perform effortless single- or double flips like a pro with only the push of a button. Even charging easy, all you need to do is plug the included USB charge cables into a USB port and you'e ready to charge the internal flight battery or transmitter. The addition of propeller guards minimizes the effects of collisions and helps to ease new pilots into RC flight. In the event the propeller blades get worn out; four replacement blades are included with the Blade Pico QX.

Update: After flying this for a few days, I am finding that the quality of this quad seems to be sub-par for a Blade product. I have been flying quads for a while and have other Blade quads that I love, but this one is turning out to be a disappointment. Props get loose and fly off. Motors come out of their mounts while flying, and sometimes seems to lose signal from about 20 feet away and I need to chase after it to re-gain control.
Easier to fly DOES = a better flight experience, it took me a while to understand this vs the troll comments to be found on amazon. In the end, I like the characteristics of all the different micro type drones, mini to pico drones..
Nice body / prop guard lighting for night flight - very colorful! Sharp looking drone and the controller is far better than the Blade Nano's as it it fits in the hand better. They should use it with the bigger nano model vs the pointy one with the "extended" antenna (unneeded the controller body has all the room needed internally). But I didn't like the Blade Nano unit I got, and returned it (thank you Amazon Prime!) and was skeptical on the pico at the start but loved it from the first flight!
Plus the controller is rechargeable! No wasted AAA batteries! Controller has yet to need a re-charge vs the drone 😊🤓👍😎🏔
Hope this is a help 🖖
Flight time is pretty short, since it's too tiny to have much battery. I think I'm doing 6-8 minutes of flight time, but haven't put a timer to it. It warns you of a low battery by blinking the lights and then slowly reducing power until the craft lands softly. Very smart. Recharging it is pretty easy, it gets power from a USB cable so I've just been using a rechargeable USB battery pack to charge the copter many times before the battery needs a recharge. This makes it highly portable and convenient.
