Best Arrows for this are:
6 Aluminum Metal Arrows 14" Long Brand New Crossbow Arrows
When assembling it, there are these 2 little black sticky squares, one goes on the bow between the two white lines, the other goes on the compression plate's backside opposite of the screw-hole indention, so that the two rubber parts will touch when tightening the bow the crossbow. This prevents slipping from happening.
Be sure to buy some Lube Wax for maintaing bowstring life.
When mounting the string to the ends of the bow, I found the best method is to have some help, the first couple of attempts probably won't work, but keep at it, the bow will eventually loosen up a bit, but don't put your foot into it and try lifting up on it, instead put the butt of the Xbow onto the seat of a chair and push down on the bow to bend it, if possible putting all of your weight into it while your help hooks the other end.
My only complaint is that the arrows that are included do not hold up well.
Well worth the buy!!!
Hand cocking for me was impossible, the stirrup I think caused most of the issues as it always changed position while trying to pull up. I'm 140lbs @ 5'11 if anyone was curious..
