Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

The reason for the deduction of one star is the handle bar adjustment. One of my primary reasons for buying this bike (besides the reasonable price for a bike with a computer) was that the handle bars are adjustable in the front/back direction and not just the normal up/down. I’m 5’ 7”, have a somewhat short torso, and like to ride in a fairly upright position to reduce stress on my shoulders. But while the handle bars do move forward and back, they don’t adjust as much as I had hoped. It looks like you could adjust the handle bars back over the stem, but you cannot (see photo). I have ridden gym spin bikes that had easier to reach handle bars. I have gotten used to it, but it was a huge letdown when I first tried out the bike.
As for other issues people have mentioned...1) yes, the seat is hard. Just like any other spin bike. I wear gel bike shorts and don’t have an issue with it, 2) I’m 5’ 7” and have no issues with the seat height adjustment, although I do have long legs/short torso, so that probably helps, and 3) be prepared for the box to be a wreck when it is delivered. This is a heavy, awkward box. Mine looked destroyed upon arrival and the FedEx guy abandoned it on my walkway instead of bringing it to the door because the box started disintegrating as he dragged it. Surprisingly, nothing on the bike was damaged. At first it appeared the base was bent, but there is a sacrificial metal bar bolted on it that took the brunt of the damage. We removed the bent part and everything was fine.
Overall a great bike and I use it for home spin class 3 or 4 times a week, plus my husband uses it to warm up before lifting weights. I just wish the handle bars were a bit more adjustable.

After much research, I found this bike. The main reason I chose this model was because, both the seat AND the handlebars adjust up and down, as well as fore and aft. This is SO important for a customized ride!
It is very quiet and very stable. I really like the fact that there are leveler footings under the support bars.
Very important: the proper height for the seat should be measured by the bend of your knee, meaning that, in the down most extension of your leg, there should be just a slight bend...no straight leg. That being said, I am 5'4". I have the seat at the lowest setting possible, and the bend of the knee is just right. So, if you are shorter than 5'4", this will not be the bike for you. I can see outside space to lower the seat about another inch, if you shave off the stopping ridge. (As I cannot determine if the inside space would allow this! I cannot say that this lowering is definitely possible.) If you are capable of making this adjustment, this bike would work for you too. Bill was very helpful with questions I asked...he may know or be able to find out for you.
As previously stated by other reviewers, the seat is a bit hard, but I remember thinking that when I first started biking. However, it would be nice if a more comfortable seat replaced the one currently provided.
The computer is fine; it provides the basic info, which is all that's necessary, unless medical data is warranted.
I will begin riding tomorrow, and will update on the performance of this ride!
I’ll update this post in a few months, but so far this was a great purchase. I’m loving being able to work out in my schedule and not the gym’s.
Update: Feb 2019
Had the bike for almost a year now. Still use the bike multiple times a week for a hard hour workout each time. I’ve had no issues with the bike at all. Still feels very solid and consistent. I’m very happy with it.
