Having grown up with Monty Python, The Young Ones, Red Dwarf, and three older brothers, I'm as much a fan of "poot" jokes as the next person. I was excited to read this book and the very beginning did have some laughs and entertaining information (Mr. Methane, for one), but it quickly went downhill. Liberal use of profanity was a turnoff, but even beyond that the book was really boring and predictable with a lot of really bad puns that got annoying. I dangerously came very close to buying this book, but ultimately decided to ask my local library to procure it for Kindle instead. SO glad I did, as I would have been really mad had I wasted my money on this. I won't bother with Dawson's other books on this subject.
