As for the story itself, I felt that waiting for each episode was worth it. I loved the cliffhangers with each episode. I loved not knowing where Tiffany was going to take me every two weeks and I liked that I couldn't flip to the end to see what would happen. I loved these characters, not as much as I love the characters in the Kathleen Turner series, but they were still quite enjoyable to spend time with.
And now that I have all the episodes and it's a complete story, I may just have to read it again as on full length book.
I read everything she writes, and she raises the bar every book.
Take a deep breath, turn off the phone, and hang on for the ride.
I really love the chemistry between Clarissa and Eric. They start off not trusting each other at all and turn into a couple of lovers.
Clarissa's loss of memory played a big part in Erics ability to catch her though. Hard to be sure what will harm you if you can't remember.
The death of Eric's partner at the hands of Clarissa's brother was a big motivator for Eric. He also had Solomon and ten million dollars on his mind. Of course he knows his boss isn't to be trusted either. What a mess for Eric to try to clean up. Thank God his new partner Kaminsky is ready to help.
Glad Clarissa finally found out what a heel her brother is.
Eric's meeting with his Father was a bolt from the blue. I think his Dad was the last person he ever expected to see again.
Of course his Dad never intended to hurt Eric and in fact had been keeping tabs on his career and life. He layed it all out for Eric. AFter giving him the full story he has him tazed unconscious. He then has Eric put in a car with keys in the ignition. He lets him go. Of course when Eric comes to he heads out after Clarissa.
Of course his Dad did want his money back. After all he is Solomon. That was a big surprise for Eric. Here he's been chasing Solomon, someone that no one has ever seen, for ever and then finds out that he's actually his long absent Dad. Jeeze talk about a kick in the teeth.
Just a great read with great dialogue. Some super good guys and one has to wonder about Solomons motives. I doubt he would ever harm his son but he is a criminal. Or is he??
I hope there is another book with Eric and Clarissa and of course Solomon on the way.
