Bleeding Love is Megan and Liam's story and it is beautiful!
When Liam sets his sights on Megan, there is no standing in his way of him getting what he wants. He has fallen hard for Megan and hasn't even spent much time with her. When Megan finds herself in a bad situation, Liam is there and explains to her there is no more hiding, that they will talk. Megan being the independent person she is refuses to let him in, and a awesome back and forth starts between these two.
I loved watching Liam break down Megan's walls through this book, and he stole my heart along with Megan and her daughter Molly's. When we get to know more about Megan's background it is more heartbreaking that I thought it already was. Yes she lost her husband at war, but finding everything else, my heart truly broke for her and her amazing daughter. Liam didn't run off and instead pulled her closer taking away her pain, and I fell hard for him when this happened.
Getting to see Dee and Beck and them guiding Liam through his story was awesome. They know from experience what Liam is up against and gave him some solid advice. Dani was pretty awesome in getting Megan to open up as well, and I truly love seeing all the kids grown up from the Corps crew.
Liam is a hard headed alpha-male, but one of the sweetest characters out there. The way he loves Megan and Molly is beautiful, but that doesn't take away from his hotness. When him and Molly had their "Date" I wanted to cry because of how emotional that date was and knew things would end up how they should with this amazing family.
Harper Sloan has knocked another book out of the park and I am left waiting for the next book in this series because these characters, ALL of them are amazing and I feel as though these fictional characters family and I don't want any of their stories to end.
I love Liam! I have given him my heart since he was introduced at Unexpected Fate and my respect and love for him just grew more in Bleeding Love. He was not dark alpha which is surrounded by too much demons but he was the light. He was the lead in this book and he acted like it. His determination to get Megan was enjoyable to watch especially when he wanted her to experience the life that she stopped living for a while.
I am a sucker for books with adorable children. Molly definitely played a major role on why I love this book specifically by the end where she was all lovely with Liam and wanted her mom to be happy forever.
What I also loved the most with Harper Sloans technique in writing is she never leave out her other characters. Here, I saw Axel Reid doing tea parties with her son Nate and it was the cutest thing ever! Who knew that Axel will put a make- up on his face and dance around the house?
Loved this book and though it was the easiest read of all in my opinion, Harper still found a cord to struck in me and in every reader's heart.
Now that all of that is out of the way Bleeding Love is the story of Liam and Megan. Megan is an author and single mother, widowed a few years ago. Her late husband was friends with Cohen, which is how she becomes part of their little group. He's kept an eye on her since she has no one else in her life but her daughter, Molly. Liam has had an attraction to Megan but Megan has never been in the right head space for Liam. Liam is anything but a quitter, with his sweet talking ways and the help of a little girl, Megan falls for Liam while she fights the past.
It's no secret Ms. Sloan can write some swoon worthy characters, Liam Beckett is no exception. I love that we get to see a little peek of Beck and Dee even though it's their son's story. Liam and Megan's story is sweet and sexy, but Molly (Megan's daughter) is a favorite of mine. She is an adorable character.
I can't wait to see what Ms. Sloan does next.
