Powerful blender

I am very happy with the performance of my blendtec so far. I have been on the fence between this machine and the new vita mix and ultimately chose this because of the sleek styling, powerful motor and the fact that it comes with the smaller twister jar container for about $100 Less than the vita mix model I was looking at. I know how those blenders perform because I was previously narrowing my moms vitamix- this one does the same job but faster. I also don’t seem to have as hard of a time because I can make smaller thick smoothies in the little container. The vita mix had a hard time blending a small amount of frozen fruit with the relatively small amount of liquid ingredients in the large container and this one has no problem. I’ve made fruit smoothies, whole juices, puréed squash soup and enchilada sauce so far with awesome results.
The machine is not too loud and the touch interface is very sensitive and pleasant to use. Most importantly to me, it’s smaller and much nicer looking on my counter. I can’t say it works better than a vitamix but it’s cheaper and seems to do the same job in half the time. I also like the idea of supporting a Utah company. I’d say give Blendtec a try. I’m very happy I did!

Great Blender, Get the original spiral cookbook...makes it so easy to use

This has turned out to be an excellent choice for us. We've only used it for smoothies, pesto, soup fixings and tomato sauce for spaghetti. Trying something new every few days. The cookbook (available here and at eBay [where we purchased ours at a lower price than here] is wonderful! It puts together the machine, the symbols, materials needed and allows you to identify the changes made since that earlier Blendtec came out. We printed out a chart of the different icons as the one online is specifically for this machine and is detailed, then put that copy of the chart in the cookbook. It is not as noisy as some complain about...I was happy to note that it was not earth-shatteringly loud. Keep an eye on the touch screen as it warns if a piece of frozen fruit (for example) needs a bit more fluid, saving stress on the machine. The accompanying smaller cup is great for pesto and can't wait to try it with other things.
One Hint: Don't try making a smooth deviled egg mix though...it is so powerful that it causes the lipid droplets in the egg yolk to burst and separate from the protein in the yolk, resulting in drippy oil settling out and a less tasty egg. There went my idea for making a perfectly smooth deviled egg filler.

The media could not be loaded.

It’s my first time to spend over $500 on a blender. I was so excited to try it out. However, the first thing I see on the lid is small scratches. And then, the touch buttons are not working. So I cannot even start it. So disappointed. Will return to get my money back.

Seller send a replacement which works good. It’s easy to use and clean. Will recommend to others.

Have been using the Blendtec Designer 725 for about a month, I must say that this is definitely a superior product. I also have the Vmix 7500 for about 3 years. Nothing wrong with that. The 725 seemed to be faster in making the thick purée without the need of a tamper whereas the 7500 needs to be tampered. Both have equal noise levels, not too bad for the ear. I like the soft touch panel to increase or decrease the speed. The wild side jar is thin and light weight compared to the 7500 jar which is thick, strong and little heavy. The twister jar does it’s job fast. As for as the wild side jar rubber gasket issues looks like they have fixed it. Only time will tell. The 7500 jar should last a lifetime. It doesn’t have any known issues with the gasket. Anyways, I am hoping to use both the blenders for a long long time. Overall I am very happy with the 725 purchase.

It’s not hyperbole to state this blender has been a breakfast and soup game changer for us. Amazing smoothies—and soups the consistency of silk. I coveted a higher-priced Vitamix for years, but couldn’t bring myself to shell out the $800—this Blendtec unit seemed like good “compromise,” especially so when it was a Prime Day deal. My only complaint is the noise. My husband hangs earplugs nearby—it’s really that bad. But apart from being loud, this is easily the best/most useful/most impactful kitchen purchase/investment I’ve made... right up there with good knives and a quality set of pots/pans.

We are a plant-based household, so we make a lot of our own cheeses which are nut based. Really love the texture that we're able to achieve with the blendtec. It's also super easy to clean in comparison to other juicers, blenders, & / or food processors we've owned! We were concerned that the touch screen wouldn't work very well with wet hands, but we've had no issues with functionality. I recommend this product and it's worth every penny.

This blender is everything I wanted and them some. A little embarrassed to admit this but, I had trouble registering my new blender on the company's website. When I reach out to Blendtec for assistance via call they had a hold time of 40 minutes. The chat would not engage and my email got no response. Finally asked for a callback and was able to register via an agent. Got no explanation about the registration process but the agent was not surprised by the request. Seriously?!? I must say that I really expected more from Blendtec customer service given the amount of money paid and the companies sterling reputation. Sad
