This blender is amazing. I've had it for 3 years and I had a problem with the jar. I called Customer Service and told them I don't use it that often and he said that the rubber piece may have dried out. My product was still under warranty (7 years) so it wasn't a problem getting a replacement part. The warranty was based on the imprinted number on the jar, which was an earlier date than when I purchased the product, but since I had my receipt (Thank you Amazon for storing historical purchases), he updated my warranty to the date that I purchased the product.

I was skeptical for switching to this after using a masticating juicer (for which I was wearing from cleaning it). I am very happy I purchased this--especially with the twister jar. It was a much better price than with the jar separate. I use the twister jar a lot and it works great. Almond butter and hummus are shockingly easy and taste great with this.

Making smoothies that are healthy, not too thick, tasty and not too many calories has been a learning process. I had given up on a Vitamix years ago because I made everything too thick and no one liked it. I do like this better than the Vitamin I had. This pitcher seems to manage whatever I put in there better due to the shape of the pitcher. I know the pitcher is a bit different in the Vitamin now, but the pre-programmed buttons on the Blendtec are a real plus and the manual is very informative.

I am extremely pleased I purchased this--especially over the Vitamix.

Had this blender for almost 2 years now. In the past we have had multiple others and I would not turn back now. It may be pricey but it’s worth it for something that will last and give results.

Due to the shape of the container everything gets blended extremely well with nothing missed. It is very easy to clean and is standing the test of time. Only downside is the noise - it sounds like a jet taking off!

The smaller attachment is also great for things like fresh peanut butter..mmm
