The Wrath Is Coming. But They Don't Know Where--Or When.
"The wrath is coming" were the final words that FBI agent Declan Grey heard the suicide bomber say. Now Declan is in the chase of his life--but isn't sure exactly what he's chasing after or when the threat will be unleashed on American soil. When his investigation's best clue leads him to a closed immigrant community, he turns to Tanner Shaw for assistance. She's sought justice for refugees and the displaced around the world, and if there's anyone who can help him, it's Tanner.
Tanner Shaw has joined the FBI as a crisis counselor . . . meaning she now has more opportunity to butt heads with Declan. As they work together to uncover the mounting threat, the tension between them also includes a spark she can't deny--and she's pretty sure Declan feels the same. But before anything more can develop, they find themselves in a race against time to stop the coming "wrath" that could cost thousands their lives.

About the Author:
Dani Pettrey is a wife, homeschooling mom and author. She feels blessed to write inspirational romantic suspense because it incorporates so many things she loves–the thrill of adventure, nail-biting suspense, the deepening of one’s faith and plenty of romance. She’s a huge fan of dark chocolate, is always in search of the best iced mocha and her dream is to one day own a little cottage on a remote stretch of beach. She and her husband reside in Maryland with their two teenage daughters.
Declan Grey's temporary partner turns out to be Tanner Shaw; the one woman who managed to capture his attention in all kinds of ways is now a newly hired crisis counselor for the F. B. I. Tasked with finding hard evidence of an international terrorist ring operating out of the Chesapeake Bay area, Declan and Tanner travel to Houston, Texas to follow their most promising lead. Imagine their surprise when a "ghost" from Declan's past shows up just in time to save their lives.
Reeling from the shock over a mentor's demise, Griffin McCray enlists the help of his friends throughout law enforcement to solve what is first labeled as a murder-suicide, despite the myriad of unanswered questions and two missing bodies. As Declan and Griffith work tirelessly through the evidence in both cases, it seems that something more nefarious is at play. A suicide bomber issued a haunting decree . . . . "the wrath is coming".
Arms smuggling, human trafficking, drug runners, international terrorist cells; while all serving as major components in"Blind Spot", they unintentionally weigh down readers with names, dates, locations, and intelligence information, making the story line a bit cumbersome to sort through at times. Nevertheless, the book is carefully plotted, and sets up nicely for the next installment in the series.
The intrigue was so gripping that your sucked in til the end, holding your breath right along with Declan and Tanner. A familiar face also makes an appearance and leaves you wanting more as he leaves many unanswered questions. Blind Stop leaves you waiting on pins and needles for book 4 so you can see if these four friends finally get their happily ever after or their lives change in ways that can never be fixed?
