Chapter one, "Blockchain Basics" is very short and provides weak explanation about what Blockchain is, how it works and what it can be used for, it's very light on details and reads a lot like a brochure, I could easily find material online which was is just as explanatory and free.
From chapter one on wards on the book is kind of boring and hard to follow because the reader never receives a solid introduction to Blockchain and it's workings in the first place. I've tried to read the book twice now and I've really struggled through it. I find the writing style quite dry and you get the feeling the author isn't interested in the topic. It's just not well written and I feel the author could've just taken a little more time and produced a better text.
Lastly, this is not the authors fault but the kindle edition (like so many kindle editions) just seems like a real mess, the table of contents is messy, only displays certain chapters etc, I have no idea why Kindle books do this. I'll be applying for a refund and staying away from Kindle editions, once again.
