It's readable, and it can be entertaining, but when I learned of the "dark secrets," I feel the dangers of her pleasure needs aren't addressed but her state of mind of a cutter is very accurate. I would say Alicia is very knowledgeable in the area, in which she is either a cutter or she extensively did her research on the subject.
I don't think I'm ruining anything in my review, but be wary, I could let something slip I didn't realize too important. We already know we have a vampire and two people, and we figure out in the very beginning what her dark secret is.... just, I guess read at your own risk.
I don't really get the whole menage thing going on. One character cannot sexually participate. I mean, I understand his role, but it just doesn't sit right to me. The end I didn't expect at all and should have been left out, imo, but that's my peace on that.
The conflict was predictable, and I did somewhat enjoy the conflict resolution, but it was over a little too quickly.
It was a good read, and it kept me captivated, which is why I gave it a decent rating.
This book blew me away! It was a whole lot more than I expected. With time-travel, two hunky guys to fall in love with, and some humor thrown in there too. It had everything I could want which made me love it even more. There are some warnings about this book you should read first. Otherwise I recommend this book.
