Despite not being old enough to drive, Rose was easily the most skilled assassin in Eva Santella’s Italian boot camp.
But then Rose decided to leave that life behind and spent her teen years playing soccer and chess and lying on the beach in Barcelona.
The Sultan took all that away.
When he killed her boyfriend on the night she turned 18, Rose made a vow that either she would kill The Sultan or die trying.
At that moment, she knew despite her best efforts to live a normal life, she was destined to be a killer.
Now, after years of hunting The Sultan, Rose will finally have her chance to confront the darkest and most evil enemy she’s ever faced.
She must kill or be killed.
Author's Note: Blood & Tears is a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat, bestselling thriller with a flawed but big-hearted vigilante heroine who loves nothing better than kicking butt and taking names for those who can't do so themselves.

This book is the best of the Rose storyline. It shows that revenge and determination can bring about some really significant consequences. It also illustrates that doing the right thing can also be the most painful. Rose grows a lot in this book and cements her path in life. She finds out who she really is and what she stands for. She shows a fierceness and resilience that does not often come to a person her age.
Rose reminds me of my adopted granddaughter. She is in her late teens, is less than five feet tall, her biological parents are Guatemalan, and she has trouble finding sparring partners because of her ferocity. She has the attitude and “that” look that says I’m a really nice person but mess with me at your own risk.
Rose makes the trifecta of Kristi’s kickass heroines. I hope to see more of her. She has a lot suspenseful and thrilling life ahead of her.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
As usual, the story is a page-turner that I read in one sitting. Now I'm looking for something light to push the details out of my head.
Well done but not for the faint of heart.
