"This author might be the new Stephen King! Nothing is off-limits in these tales of horror and apocalyptic terror. Lock the doors and cuddle up tight before daring to venture into this gruesome collection of horrific short stories. ...Bravo and encore. Bring on more of this stuff. I ate it up." - David Forsyth, author, The Sovereign Spirit Saga (Voyage of the Dead, Flotilla of the Dead)
"...Walsh does not disappoint...Revels in its own grossness, delights in its depiction and punishment of evil." - Douglas Hoffman (on "Toys Left Behind in the Abortionist's Waiting Room")
"...a chilling observation on adulthood that can easily be paralleled in our own society. A wickedly dark ending in an already dark story makes "Alicia's Schoolmate" truly enjoyable." - Tangent Online
From the Author
These are my best stories so far, influenced by Ray Bradbury, Richard Matheson, Harlan Ellison and Ethan Canin, among others. Each was born from a scrap of music, a challenge (I hate zombie stories; someone said I couldn't write a good one), a painting I painted or a fear I have. I would have enjoyed reading these in a tent under a full moon, or under the covers on long summer nights. Let me know what you think of them.
