if your looking for a game for the turbografx 16 search no more this is the best turbografx 16 game to buy if your into shooting games this one has all sorts of weapons, items & boss battles you get two different endings depending on which character you played the game with & as for the final boss can be hard to beat i recomend if you stay near the bottom right side of the screen you'll have a better chance of winning the game

This twenty-something-year-old game is a true gem from the 16-bit era of consoles. The TG-16 was starved for good titles that were easy to pick up and fun to play, but "Bloody Wolf" filled that void nicely, along with a few other classics, like the "Bonk" series. Still available for download on the Wii Virtual Console, this title is one that should not be missed- and it's still fun today!
Clearly inspired by "Rambo" (just look at that ridiculous cover art!) and the macho, testosterone-driven action flicks of the 80s, "Bloody Wolf" captures that ludicrous, over-the-top vibe perfectly. Gameplay is easy to get into (something that could not be said for all 16-bit games), and it has a relatively easy level of difficulty that lets you enjoy the game without breaking your controller in half from frustration (like "Contra", for instance). The dialogue is absurd, as you encounter half-baked villains who are like a poor man's Foxhound Unit, but the fun just keeps on coming, as you get to play around with flamethrowers, grenades, and miscellaneous toys. The programmers clearly took pride in what they were doing, and they stretched the capabilities of the TG-16 system with tanks, helicopters... and even a submarine!
"Bloody Wolf" can be completed in well under an hour, which makes it a nice break from all the super-long games of today. And there are some really fun cheat codes that can be accessed from the debug screen, such as the "hover mode", which will make your levitating commando able to blast through the whole game in about 20 minutes!

Really, this game needs no introduction, as the cover art says it all. Does that look awesome to you? If so, you'll be pleasantly surprised that Bloody Wolf is very fun to play, in addition to looking great next to your Rambo DVD collection.
Your muscle-bound hero can enter buildings, find weapons and ammo, and ride motorcycles. Oh and there are hostages to rescue too, but really who cares, we're just playing to mow down everything in a bloody spectacle of firepower, right?
Controls are easy and work well. The motorcycle is a bit harder to control, but that's due to the speed it moves. Challenge is about right, just enough to be hard, but not so much to be a brick wall.
