About the Author
Anne is a leader, writer, speaker, wife, and mother of 4 wonderful children. She teaches 8th grade English, is on the Bloom Leadership team, and leads disciples who make disciples. She enjoys reading, exercising, shopping and savoring dark chocolate. Anne was born in the Philippines, to missionary parents, but mainly grew up in Ohio. She met her husband, Dave, in college and the rest is history. In 2004, they moved across the country, far from family and friends, to "parachute plant" a church in Charlotte, NC. Kinetic Church was birthed from that great leap of faith and they have been serving there ever since. Church planting has been a wild, scary, lonely, blessed, adventure-filled, roller-coaster journey leading to a more trusting walk with Christ. In the church planting world, pastor's wives are often overlooked, untitled and underpaid. Yet they remain a vital part of their church's and spouse's ministry. Church planting can be a lonely journey for the pastor's wife, especially at first when she hasn't made many friends yet. Anne knows this struggle because she has traveled through that lonely wilderness as well. Anne's passion is to equip planting spouses with resources that encourage them on their journey.
