Pretty, but not practical.

It's definitely good looking and great for putting on the table as a show piece with some practicality. It works ok for toothpicks but is no good for q tips. The problem lies in the design of qtips being that they are thin in the middle and bulky at the ends. It looks nice in the picture shown here but what happens if you put enough of the qtips in to fill it is that you can't pull any out. That's because the middle parts that are thinner fill the circle (the smallest point) and the tips that are on the bottom will not come out because they are larger. Also, if you use all three of the green leafy parts which makes it look the best, you end up with a pretty small hole and can only fit about 10 qtips. Last, the plastic bubble on top isn't tall enough to clear the top of the qtips so it's sitting on top of them partly flattening them.

Build quality is good.

So in summary, a good looking product but not practical.

Ring Around The Q-Tips

Pretty q-tip holder. I thought it could hold cotton balls too, because the word cotton was used in the description. No place for cotton balls. Was disappointed. It has openings made from the plastic leaves that hold different amounts of q-tips. I wanted it to hold the most . In order to do that you must give up 2 of the 3 leaf rings. So now there is only one leaf ring. I liked the layer look but am not able to use the other leaf rings because it would hold alot fewer q-tips. It is still layered but only because the hole has a permanent leaf ring at its base.

I bought this as a stocking stuffer. The product pictured appears to be in very good quality and the clear outer shell looks like it is made of glass. When the product arrived I was instantly disappointed with my purchase and embarrassed to send it as a gift. The plastic looked cheap, the colors were dull and the product did not look as pictured. From a functionality stand point - you can't fit as many as you think you can or as you want to. Very few fit inside and depending on how often and how many q-tips you use, you will be filling this up constantly and be annoyed by it. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Exactly as depicted - a cute, fun way to display Q-tips while shielding them from dust and water. As others have noted, it doesn't hold tons of Q tips. I think it holds about 25-30 max if you have all three 'leaves' in place as pictured. You can increase the number of Q tips it holds by removing 1 or 2 of the 'leaves' if you like so that the center hole is bigger, though I prefer to have all the leaves and just replenish more often as I bought this primarily for its attractive appearance. Otherwise, I could have just bought a plain old storage box, but where's the fun in that? Kudos to this unique and fun item.

Cute but not the most practical

This thing is cute as a button but has some issues. The colors are spot on. The lotus flower detaches from the white bottom. The flower also comes apart into 3 separate pieces. In order to assemble everything, you kind of "snap" the pieces all together.
The holes in the flower parts get smaller as you go up. For example, if you want it to hold the most number of Qtips, you leave the top two pieces of the flower OFF. Each additional layer of flower makes the hole smaller, thus fewer Qtips fit. I really love the look of having all three parts of the flower on, therefore I can only fit about 20 Qtips in the holder. Even then it's a snug fit.
**NOTE** If you pack too many Qtips in, you have to use two hands to get them out, because the holder is so light you can lift the entire thing by just grabbing one Qtip.
The clear plastic top just rests over the entire thing, and doesn't snap into place.
PROS: Overall it's very cute and the quality is what I'd expect for the price.
CONS: Right now I have to refill it every week (between husband and I) when I'd rather have something I could refill once a month.

I just moved into a tiny apartment with an equally tiny bathroom. I stumbled across this late one night and decided I needed to buy it immediately. Best late night Amazon purchase EVER, I must say. It's pretty small and barely takes up any counter space, but holds a decent amount of cotton swabs despite that. The clear plastic lid just rests on the base making it super easy to remove. Super cute!

So cute and unique. I was looking for something like this for my bathroom and stumbled across it. You can't fit a ton of swabs in it but it's still helpful in being able to keep them readily accessible without worrying about them falling into the sink and getting wet. I do wish the clear plastic lid "clicked" into a ridge of some sort. As it is, it kind of just sits on top so if you know it over, it will fall off. However, for the price, it's really a steal.

It looks just like the product photo. The flowers are a flexible material and sort of snap to each other and the base so they are sturdy. I like that you can use 1, 2 or 3 of the flowers depending on how many q tips you have. It's a cute way to keep your q tips out and to keep them from getting dirty!
