Very goood product. I help fix my brother car with White smoke coming out the tail pipe. We check to make sure we have enough engine oil before we do this thing. We REMOVE THE THERMOSTAT. We flush out all the coolant inside the radiator and engine. This product will only work with WATER ONLY. We refill with water from the garden hose. Then we leave some room to fill this whole bottle in. We ran and idle the car until the temperature gauge and the fan come up for good 20 to 30 minutes. Then we turn off and let it rest and cool for 15 minute.. Then we start up again for 30 minute to let it idle to circulate the system with this chemical and we drove for 10 minute. We FIX the symptom from there. White smoke did not come out anymore. Notice two things we do here, we Remove the THERMOSTAT and fill the system with WATER ONLY. VERY GOOD PRODUCTS. This stuff can only be used with Water to seal. If you used with coolant then it won't seal as we know it. That's why you got to flush out all tge cooolant and fill with water Only. Also if you car has water in the engine oil distick, then I think you are having a bigger problem then this thing can fix. This will only works with engine that has White Smoke coming out the tail pipe and not having bubble of white water inside your engine dipstick. Those are the two major factors you have to know before you complaint it's not working.

It works, but you must follow the process!

1. Verified no coolant in oil, (can't use this product of there is).
2. Flushed all coolant from 96 Dakota 3.9 v6. Filled it with water, (leaving room for Blue Magic).
3. Ran engine to get it up to operating temp with radiator cap off (and steam billowing from exhaust).
4. Poured in Blue Magic, put on radiator cap, and steam stopped within 5 minutes.
5. Followed instructions on bottle and ran engine for 20 minutes let cool. Did this process 4 times. Let sit overnight then started engine next morning and no steam 😅.
6. Flushed water and filled with 50/50 radiator fluid and all is well.
Hope this fix last awhile. If it fails within the next year I'll update this review. (12/26/20)

Had a slow intake manifold leak on a 20 yr old GMC Safari van. First tried Barr's stop leak with old coolant. Bad idea. Overheated immediately. Watched utube videos. Scotty Kilmer said to use Seal-Up with distilled water ONLY. Flush and use çleaner first. Caution!! Don't use if coolant is getting into engine oil. It worked like a charm. No more antifreeze leaks so neighbor's cats won't get poisoned. Had some white smoke before on startup. Gone now.

I used this on a 35 year old Honda VF500F motorcycle that was burning a small amount of coolant, It is very difficult and expensive to get new head gaskets (and taking one of the heads off the engine is not an easy job to begin with).

The cooling system capacity on my engine is about 2 quarts, so a little went a long way in my case. The bottle is supposed to treat up to 6 gallons, so I used about one ounce to treat my engine. I also removed the thermostat.

Other than that, I followed the instructions on the bottle. I flushed and filled the cooling system with just water, left the radiator cap off, and ran the engine to operating temperature. Then I added an ounce of seal-up and capped the radiator and idled for 20 minutes. There was a big reduction in white smoke, but it did not go away entirely. I shut the engine off, let it cool, and drained the system and let it sit for 12 hours.

I repeated this process a second time, but on the second time I noticed no white smoke whatsoever, so one treatment must have worked just fine. I drained the system and let it sit as before, then flushed the system the next day. So far everything is working as it should. No leaks!

If you are considering using this on a motorcycle head coolant leak, because parts are hard to find or replacing the head is not easy, it worked in my case, and it is a cheap and easy workaround. It is not a replacement for doing the job right, but spending hundreds of dollars on a motorcycle that is only worth... hundreds of dollars... isn’t a good investment imo unless it is a highly collectible bike.

So far it works as expected. I followed the directions on the bottle. The only additional thing I did was remove the radiator after treatment and rinsed it out good. I also poured water down through the top hose where the thermostat goes and rinsed out any additional material. It was easy to remove and because I was not treating the radiator. I was using it to fill a small crack or hole somewhere in the head or block that we can not find. The thermostat was already removed previously while running flush treatments through the system and I highly recommend removing it for this treatment.
