Perfect bag for party goody bags! I fit in each bag (with plenty of room to spare, and tie at the top with a piece of ribbon) a snack chip bag, mini playdoh cup, 2x3" notebok and mini pencil, and a pack of fruit snacks. Thinness of the bag wasn't an issue for me, they are a little thin but you only can see the contents of the bag if the items are pressed against the bag interior (see pics).
I feel like these would be fine as merchandise bags, they are well-made, no issues at the seams or handle. They are a very good value.
