Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, it's fun, flirty and even has a bar fight. I enjoyed the flow of the story and how the author filled in the backstory while telling the current story. I enjoyed the back and forth chatter between wolf and human. It showed while the two were one, that human and animal see the world differently.
What did you like best about this story?
I totally loved the humor which was sprinkled liberally throughout the story.I loved how the girls practically took over running the saloon. They're brainstorming session was freaking hilarious.
Which scene was your favorite?
I loved it when Simon realized Jessica was selling his muffins.
"Muffins? She was selling his muffins?
"Giving my muffins away, he nearly said"
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I have no idea. Sorry.
Any additional comments?
My only turn off in the story is taking the Lord's name in vain. I have little problem with other swearing, but that always makes me wince and jars me out of the story. That said, the cursing is not over the top and fits the moments it's used.
While I enjoyed the narrator, Kelsey Osborne, I kind of wish she had a bit more definition in the male voices. That said, I'm looking forward to listing to the next one.

Would you listen to Temptation: Reckless Desires again? Why?
Totally. It's a great story and my favorite of the series so far. I loved the interaction between the main characters and their wolves. Plus, there was lots of humor.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I am totally in love with Cole. He was so sweet and lovable. I loved how he dealt with the changes that were happening to him.
I also loved the wolves voices inside Janna and Cole's heads.
Which scene was your favorite?
Hmmm, it's hard to say that without spoiling the story. I loved the scene with the Cole, Janna, and the bull.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Totally...and I did just that last night.
Any additional comments?
I have to say the narrator, Kelsey Osborne, impressed me much more with this book. The male voices were much better this time.

Soren and Sarah
I think this is my favorite couple in in the series so far. I love how they slowly made their way back to each other. While both had valid reasons for their hurt and anger, they didn't wallow in it. They were very pragmatic about the situation they found themselves in.
Something I really loved was that there wasn't a silly misunderstanding that had kept them separated from one another. The issues were valid and appeared insurmountable. Too many stories use that cliched and overused trope, imo.
The story was well-composed which is the norm for Ms. Lowe's books. I've never been disappointed with her stories. Her characters are imperfect, but improve throughout the story. The stories are do follow a typical pattern so the reader does know what to expect in the general sense. For myself, this is truly part of the charm. She definitely does *not* let it get stale/boring. I can trust she's going to tell me a fantastic story that I'm going to love.
The narrator, Ms. Osborne, did a fantastic job of reading/acting out the story. She's really grown as a narrator.
I'm looking forward to the next book.

Damnation - 5 stars!
Loved this! Second chance romance with shifters, I'm all on board for that! Jessica and her sister, Janna, are starting new at the Blue Moon Saloon after their whole pack was wiped out by Rogue shifters. They are wolf shifters, and Jessica is very thankful to have found a place at the Blue Moon, but when she finds out her new boss is a past lover, she isn't too happy, but there isn't anywhere else for her and her sister to go, so Jessica is going to have to just deal with it. Jessica was deeply hurt by Simon when he broke things off with her without much explanation, and finds it difficult to be in his presence; especially since her wolf wants her mate, and Jessica is still affected by being near Simon. Simon is a bear shifter, and he can't believe it when Jessica walks into the Saloon; his bear growls mate and wants to make her his, but Simon hurt Jessica when he broke it off, so his bear is just going to have to wait. I love that there is POV's from both Jessica and Simon! Jessica is a strong and intelligent woman, and I really felt for her, when she lost her pack and when Simon turned her away. The romance is so sweet and wonderful, and Simon was adorable! I love that he rubs up on stuff! I know that sounds a bit weird, but it's a shifter story, so I think it fits. I love that he is a bit of a gruff bear, but his soft side comes out with Jessica. I also like that we get some action scenes, and I really enjoyed the writing! I also loved all the side characters, and I am super excited to read each of their books! This is a great shifter read, and I'm definitely looking forward to more from Anna Lowe!!
Temptation - 5 stars!
I'm really loving this series! In this book, we get Janna's story, who is Jessica's sister from the first book, and we get to see how Janna and Cole's story unfolds. You should read the first book in this series, or there will be some spoilers in this book for that book, and Janna and Cole are introduced in the first book, but I suppose it isn't completely necessary, but I think it adds to the enjoyment of this book; plus that book is awesome too! Janna and her sister have found a new home at the Blue Moon Saloon with the 2 were-bears, Simon and Soren, and Janna is feeling a strong attraction towards a regular at the Saloon. Cole is a sexy cowboy with something in his past that is eating away at him, and on top of that, he is starting to feel and hear strange things, and his feelings for Janna have turned animalistic. Janna's wolf is also feeling animalistic towards Cole, but she doesn't understand it because Cole is human, and on top of her wolf acting weird, there is the threat of the Rogues. The Rogues don't believe in mixing shifters, and they definitely don't want shifters and humans mixing. First off, I enjoyed the chemistry between Cole and Janna, and I found Cole to be adorable. I like Janna too, but I definitely think she should have made it more of a priority to talk with Cole; that made me think of her as a bit more ditzy then I had thought previously, so I was a bit disappointed in that, but for the most part, I liked her. The story is interesting, and I liked the flow of the story. I'm excited to read the next book in the series, even if I don't really like the premise; I wanted more for Soren, so I'm disappointed with what I know so far, but since I loved the first 2 books and enjoy Anna Lowe's writing, I'm giving it a chance. Plus, I'm very interested in Soren! Looking forward to more of him, and more of the main couples from books 1 and 2!
Redemption - 4 stars!
I love Anna Lowe's writing, and I like how she tells a story. I love shifters, and I love that Anna Lowe's book have a bit of action in them. The romances are sweet and I like the suspense of the crazed group who is killing those that try to mix shifter races or shifters with humans. This book can be read as a standalone, but characters from the previous books are present in this one, so there are some spoilers for the previous books. In Redemption, we get dual POV's from Soren and Sarah, Soren believed that his mate, Sarah, was killed in a fire, but when she shows up alive, he is really surprised and happy, but that is short lived when he sees that she is pregnant and he knows it isn't his. Can Soren forgive his mate? Can he protect her from the shifter purity group? When I read the synopsis for this one, I wasn't overjoyed about her being pregnant because I don't really like that type of storyline, and I wasn't completely happy with her story of how she became pregnant; it didn't really make me feel anymore favorable towards her, but I still really enjoyed the rest of the story, and I did like Soren and Sarah's backstory. There aren't flashback scenes, but through Soren and Sarah's memories, we get brief glimpses of how their relationship was prior, and they are rather sweet with each other. Sarah also has some kick butt moments that are awesome, and I love Soren. I also like seeing the other couples from the previous books, and I would love more of them! So, although this wasn't my favorite in the series, I still really enjoyed it, and am definitely looking forward to more!
Jessica Macks and her younger sister, Janna, inexplicably escaped the carnage when their Montana wolf pack was attacked and wiped out by Blue Bloods. They have been running ever since. Now, tired and broke, they have stopped in a small Arizona town, looking for work. They meet Tina, who offers them a place to stay and a job. But when she takes them to the Blue Moon Saloon to meet the owners, they recognize each other. And there is a chorus of "This will never work!" Because Simon was forced by his alpha to renounce the mate he found and loved in Perfection. And she hates him for his rejection. This story begins the Blue Moon Saloon series, another winner for this author. And this box set is a great way to get the first three books all under one cover.
Top international reviews
Simon and Soren are running a salon under the protection of the Twin Moon Pack when they are asked to allow two sister to work there too. Simon is shocked to find that it is his "mate" Jessica and her sister and although he doesn't want to be close to Jessica, believing that she hates him, they cannot say no. Jessica doesn't want to be near Simon but has nowhere else to go. Hence they two fated mates are forced to be constantly close to each other.
TEMPTATION:- Janna an upbeat she-wolf was lucky enough to escape the murderous clutches of the Blue Bloods when they ended the lives of her pack and family. Now living in Arizona and working at the Blue Moon Saloon she feels safe. Cole the sultry ex-rodeo pro who Janna is drawn to like a magnet, one kiss and she was hooked but knows she should keep her distance because the BlueBloods could hurt him. Cole has thoughts that haunt him from his past, his feelings for Janna have escalated into possessiveness, his senses have magnified, he also has a voice in his head bellowing out orders to him and he thinks he is going loony. Nightmarish danger is on its way and it is headed straight for Janna.
REDEMPTION:- Wow, I have to say I liked book one of this series and I loved book two of the series and I expected to enjoy book three - But Wow! - what can I say I think this one is the best of them all.
The characters from the previous books are mentioned in this book but then they are all involved in the Blue Moon Saloon. This book centres on Soren who having had the woman he loved, his mate, murdered in an ambush is one grumpy bear. He is the Alpha of this new Blue Moon clan and does all he can to ensure the clan's safety from the pure blood zealots. Then one day, his mate who he believed was dead, comes into the Blue Moon Saloon. Obviously there is a great story waiting to be told but whilst reading it you are not certain that Soren and Sarah are going to have a HEA.
As always with Anna Lowe's writing the descriptions and emotions draw you in and you find yourself unable to put the book down, you just have to know how things are going to work out. This book had me holding my breath whilst I waited to see how the twists and turns in the story would resolve themselves. I have to say that I for one loved this book.
I don't feel I can say more because I don't like to put spoilers in my reviews, but I would certainly recommend this Collection it is well worth reading.
It was good to be back at Blue Moon Saloon reading about the Macks Sisters and Voss brothers, to find out what or how Cole and Janna meander through the obstacles that life has to throw at them.
What a twist that Cole’s story takes and the hardship or rather self-loathing that he has had to endure due to something happening that was no fault of his own. The passion between the two is out of this world as they both try to work out what is happening.
Love the banter between the two of them and even including bull fighting terms into their foreplay, a delightful read for sure and highly recommend it.
OMG, what a cliff hanger Sarah and Soren!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait for Redemption as Soren has been depicted as brass and abrupt how is he going to evolve into a loved up bear.
It was good to finally find out all about Sarah and Soren’s story. As usual the blue moon series continue to intrigue and the passion is astounding as ever. You will be blown away with how Sarah became pregnant, but glad that Soren is the man he is as he accepts her back into her life. And she proves her worth by fighting side by side with Soren to kill the rogues that killed their families.
Got to read an excerpt from the next book in the series, and wonder how this new development will affect the newly reacquainted mates.
OMG! I hope this series never ends. Anna Lowe has found a way of continuing the Twin Moon Ranch series by giving us a “side trip” to the Blue Moon Saloon. While Tina continues with her help of distraught and troubled shifters, she unknowingly throws together a couple of bears, orphaned by the hands of a rogue pack trying to decimate the “mixed breeds”, claiming pure wolf breeds only, calling themselves the Blue Bloods, with a pair of she-wolves who have survived one of the Blue Bloods attacks, where they were also orphaned, as they watched their entire pack being burned to ashes.
Little did she know, but the bears and the she-wolves were already aquainted, as they were from neighbouring clan/packs. The fact that Simon, one of the bear brothers, and Jessica, one of the she-wolf sisters, are mates, is a hidden secret, leaves everyone on edge.
Lots of excitement, plenty of broken hearts that need mending, fires and rescues, and a good dose of loving all will have you on the edge of your seat itching to find out what will happen next. Loving this spin-off just as much as the original series. Can’t wait to read about the next couple to find peace and love.
What a way to end such an awesome story….or should I say, what a way to introduce the next episode in the series! I don’t think “excited” is enough to say how I feel as I not so patiently wait for the next book to come. While I wait for Soren and Sarah’s story, I have to say that Anna Lowe sure has grabbed my heart and pulled every one of it’s strings with Jenna and Cole. So much action, excitement, pain and love going on that a girl could easily fall head over heels in love over and over again. There isn’t much that beats a hunky cowboy who’s about to discover a whole new world exists, whether he wants to or not. And lets not forget the beautiful Jenna, a shifter that, not only lusts for the human, Cole, but knows deep in her heart that he’s her mate. But how can Fate deal her such a crappy hand in the name of love? How will she ever be able to tell her fated mate what she is? Will she ever get a chance at happiness, or will Whyte, the purist that killed her whole pack except her and Jess, manage to kill her too?
Absolutely love this spin off of the Twin Moon Ranch series. Anna has a unique way that will drag you along for the ride of your life as she spins her web that makes our imaginations run wild. A series worth reading.
I am so awestruck by the talent of Anna Lowe! This episode of the Blue Moon Saloon series is the best one yet. After almost a year of mourning the loss of his mate Sarah, Soren is dumbstruck when she suddenly appears in his saloon looking like she was going to fall to the ground in weakness. She had lost so much weight and looked like she would break in two if he so much as touched her. Then he noticed her baby bump and lost all sense of reason, storming off to cool down. Sarah has been on the run since her home was torched almost eight months ago, by a radical group chanting “purity, purity” as they watched her home and family burn to the ground. The voice in her mind keeps telling her this is where she should be, and as soon as she sees Soren, all she can feel is relief. Until he storms out that is. With so many hurdles to cross, will they ever manage to find peace with each other to enable them to finally be together forever? It’s easy to see that they love each other, but can they ever forgive themselves? Will the Blue Bloods finally get their wish and kill them all, or will Soren finally be able to achieve the ultimate vengeance for all of the lives lost at the hands of Victor Whyte and his pack of “Blue Bloods”? A true testament that love conquers all, this book will have you weeping one moment for past losses and grievances, then cheering the next for what the future promises. Beautifully written, Anna Lowe once again outdoes herself with this beautiful love story. I for one, will anxiously wait for whatever she bequeaths next.
