I recently used 2 of these as I worked on installing a custom stereo system in my pontoon boat. The whole system has been designed to run off one dedicated deep cycle battery.

One bar was used for as a 12V source, and the other as ground. I used Anchor brand 8 gauge wire to hook from each of these direct to the battery, and used a variety of wire sizes (10 AWG, 12 AWG, and 16 AWG) to supply power to a Kenwood marine head unit, JBL 4 channel marine amp, and JBL 200W 10" sub. It was easy to keep all the wiring neat and tidy (I'm a perfectionist), so I was happy about that.

after I assembled everything, with marine grade wire, crimp on connectors, and solder all around, the resistance measured through 9 feet of 8 AWG wire, the bus bar, and the longest piece of wire I had connected to the bar was 0.1 Ohms or less.

Construction seems very sturdy

The covers are a nice touch, although there aren't too much more than a deterrent for rouge wires to accidentally touch the wrong bus bar - I had no clearance issues with 8 AWG wire (using ring terminals)

I will post a picture of my configuration shortly.

Buy with confidence!

I will follow up at some point to comment on how well this product stands up to extended exposure to a salt water environment.

Solid copper, tin plated to resist corrosion. Very robust metal construction, not flimsy in any way, shape or form. Plastic cover fits securely on end posts to cover terminals from damage. This is a ground bus bar. Do not confuse with a positive bus bar, although in the correct installation, it could serve as a positive distribution terminal. All screw terminals on this, which allows the most secure installation using crimp or soldered on ring wire terminals. All very professional, just like my 12 volt electric installations. This is intended for marine use, and it shows. I am using this item as a negative bus bar in my truck under the hood, where I now have a large number of ring terminal ground wires bolted to the radiator cross member support. I will then attach a 4 or 8 gauge wire to one end post, and on the other post will be another of the same gauge wire going to the frame, and from there to the engine block. I like having solid ground connections The attachments to frame and engine block will be sprayed with electrical control cleaner or tuner cleaner, to maintain a good, corrosion free ground connection.

HEAVY DUTY and large...just what I needed. Using this for my off-grid solar powered system. I have the inverter, solar chargers, LED readout, and battery bank all hooked to it. You can crank down on the 5/16" terminals too...well built.

THE GOOD:
- Price
- Amazon Prime delivery
- Heavy Duty...it will handle just about everything
- Excellent quality workmanship

THE NOT SO GOOD:
- For your pos/neg you need two...any package deals?
- Covers and cradle combo sold separately (the covers are almost "required")
- Over $160 for two and two covers...makes you look elsewhere.

BOTTOM LINE:
- The best costs $$$. And for $160, you can't go wrong with these. EXCELLENT product.

worked Great to clean up ground wires on my Polaris RZR. I'm wiring in some new lights and using the factory bus studs was not as clean as I wanted. The bus bar did the trick. Fast shipping and High quality.

The studs tighten down snug for good connections and the plastic cover keeps wires from touching things they should not and letting the magic electrical smoke out. Highly recommend.

See my picture. I love these Blue Sea Systems busbars. I own the 6-post ones and these 4-post ones for my off-grid solar power system in the garage. Blue Sea Systems, how about contacting me for attaining a BSS M2 SOC DC meter? I am looking for a discount/promo/beta tester since I advertise all my Blue Sea Systems equipment on my YouTube channel and private FB Renewable Energy page.

Made my fuse block install look real clean. I ordered 2 of these, one to use as negative terminal block, and one as positive. East to mount, perfect addition! This is much more practical then attempting to ground wires under any bolts possible. Would highly recommend this purchase to anyone considering adding a fuse block.

Good quality buss bar. Using for positive power distribution in hotrod engine bay. Would prefer red for positive, but is functioning well anyway.
Alternator, amplifier, and a few accessories hooked at this time. Will attach new EFI power cable here when I upgrade as well. Recommended.

I used this buss to create a 12v power distribution system in my care car. I got one with a cover for the posative and one without a cover for the ground. See photos.
