One big pee does leak through these, but I don't find that too big a deal. I was hoping that they wouldn't leak at all because of the other reviews. I think it may be because We are just starting potty training and my little one was sitting on the potty for a LONG time, then got up and peed a full pee in her trainers. If you just have a little accident, it wouldn't be such a big deal.
Read the care tag before you wash theses--no vinegar or fabric softener. I'm glad I saw that because I normally use both in my laundry! I'm guessing that they would cut down on the absorbency of the trainers.
I always think it's helpful to know what size people buy and what size their child is, so: my daugther is on the petite end of the scale. She's approximately 24lbs and I bought the small ones. I think it's a good fit. Maybe could have gone with the next size up, but I didn't want to risk losing the snug fit. She seems to think they're comfortable and walks and runs without any problems.
I use them daily for nap time. If she doesn't use the bathroom right before her nap, then she does wake up soaked through to the front of her pants (and the bed linens). That's the down-side. The upside is that for those smaller accidents, you can tell the Blueberry Trainers feel wet, but they hold it and prevent her jeans from getting wet. I haven't been putting them in the dryer (although, it's says they can--just can't use fabric softner) and I've found it takes about 2 days for them to air-dry.
I have also put these on her when I know we're going on a more important outing where it would be a bigger deal if an accident occurred, as this item can often prevent puddles from forming on that really expensive carpeting that Great Aunt Edna just put in.
PROS: Not too absorbent that the child can't tell he/she is wet, great fit, holds smaller accidents well, comfortable, & cute/stylish.Read more ›

I highly recommend these training pants. My daughter loves them and I am very pleased with the amount of liquid they hold. They are comfy, cute and discreet. Read morePublished on March 21, 2014 by Happy Mom
I find these to be too much like cloth diapers for effective potty learning. As far as I can tell, my 22 month old thinks they are cloth diapers and pees freely in them. Read morePublished on July 19, 2011 by Julia Corbin
