A few pros and cons below. And if you don't get the obsession over looking for the perfect notebook and writing a long review about one, this probably isn't the right product to spend money on. I feel like I've been on a lifetime search and this might be the closest thing to really good that I've found yet.
LAYS FLAT. For real, lays flat.
Lightweight but super-durable.
Pages tear out easily without ripping and making a mess.
This size is easy to carry.
Tabs to organize different areas of the notebook (in an ideal world I wish they could be removed and reapplied but that's shooting for the moon).
Labels for the outside and spine of the notebook.
I Googled "best notebook for organization" and this came up, tried it, and haven't been disappointed.
I strive to follow the organization system laid out in David Allen's "Getting Things Done" so this is my 'one' notebook where everything starts. It gets the job done and allows me to break notes out into raw daily things, projects, next actions, waiting for, someday, and anything I need to scan/store in Evernote comes out easily without tearing.
So whatever system you try to use you can probably make it work. Just note it's not 8.5x11; I think they make those though.
A little expensive.Read more ›
I would love a bigger one very much like this, maybe 12X14, with 6 or 8 tabbed plastic divider sheets that you can label and install wherever you need the division. Room for a front pencil pouch would be nice, too.
And their notebook that has grid paper on one side and lined on the other? A science teacher's dream-come-true!

I don't think I will ever get a different notebook for journaling. This is perfect! I'm tempted to switch to using these even for class notes. . .Published 16 months ago by Fritz
Great notebook! Pages do not bleed through. This notebook is great for daily a journal. The tabs and labels make it nice if you use more than one. Read morePublished 23 months ago by JTN
Ok, this is the color I was hoping for, dark navy/almost black, but I'm sure others might want to know that it is not a definite blue.
