It was a little tricky to set up, you just need to make sure your car key is turned to accessory mode to pair it the first time. Code should be 0000.
This will NOT work with iphone and it is NOT the adapters fault. It is apples fault so please don't blame the adapter. Apple products can not even see this on bluetooth. If you want to use a nobs reader at this time with an iphone or ipad you will need a wifi obd reader NOT bluetooth.
I'm not sure if I got one of the knockoffs I read about in several of the reviews however I don't think its worth the risk at this point. I decided to purchase an OBDLink LX which arrived in two days and works great.
One positive note is that this device came with a mini-CD that included a licensed copy of TorquePro (at least mine did) so I didn't have to spend $4.95 for it on Google Play.
I would buy this product again.
