I purchased some years ago a THX Pioneer Receiver. It was the latest then. Not long after that, a newer version came out which was better than mine. One of the features that my current receiver lacks is Bluetooth functionality.
I love my receiver as it plays very well the sound from TV, Blue ray, DVD, Sirius XM, and so forth. However, I have to connect my iPhone in the AUX input in order to enjoy some music from my phone and it drives me nuts. It was time to acquire a Bluetooth audio receiver to ease my pain.
The Aukey Bluetooth 4.1 Audio receiver was the perfect item for me. At outset, I would like to say that this receiver is not perfect. There is so much room for improvement. Nonetheless, it does what the manufacture says it does. It is a very basic receiver which I would recommend anyone to get if you only need a receiver functionality for your Home, Audio, or sound system. For anything else, you may want to spend some extra money to get one with the additional functionality. In order words, do not spend money to buy a Prius and expect the performance of a Tesla.
We were on vacation last week. On our way back home, my daughter connected her iPad to the Bluetooth receiver. All my kids were watching the movie, and the sound was coming out from the speakers of our minivan. It was exactly what they needed. The receiver lasted the whole duration of the movie 2 hours ½.
In addition, I was roaming in the house doing some cleaning. I connected my iPhone to the receiver. Then, I plugged in my headset. I had the freedom to move around the house while my phone was stationary on the charger. Then, a call came in. I was able to pick up the call easily. I had to stay within 33 feet radius of the phone which was fine by me.Read more ›
