Well worth the price tag! It’s hefty (heavy and solid). Knobs are tiny, but feel solid. Love the packaging details. They went out their way to make it cute, nostalgic, and protected. Sound really great!
Sound: Musician ears... iI’s still a small speaker, but the bass is enough to sing a funky bass guitar line, yet not boxy (bass doesn’t overshadow all the other sounds). The upper end is pleasant. High-hat is clear. Violin Concerto pleasant and all parts clear. Mid range is not overwhelming. News radio/talk shows are very clear and present. It is too loud at full volume for me to enjoy (unless I’m far away from it). It should work nicely for sitting outside my car during a drive-in movie! It’s good enough to enjoy the movie sounds. Just don’t expect surround sound! But loud, clear, full ranged sound (from a small speaker). I keep saying small speaker because its not a fancy studio monitor for sound engineering. 😄
The antenna is only able to move left-right, and extend. Works. Works without if the station is strong. Green light helps give feedback at the strongest point of the signal.
Knobs are tiny. But ribbed. And because it’s so tiny, surfing stations happens very fast. Stations that are close together can be tricky to zero-in. On the other hand, it’s very fast to switch from a station that’s further away as a quick small turn is faster than the “seek” button on a car radio.
Bluetooth: Works. No problems finding it. No problems connecting.
Not the fastest charging. And as it’s still very new, I cannot attest to battery life. But it does say to unplug after it’s fully charged. So, I’m guessing the battery needs to be fully charged and discharged for best life. So, not the kind you can leave plugged in.
Holder: Very cute! Thoughtfully designed. But there was not instructions for taking it out of the carrier. I was afraid of breaking it. Turns out, old school all the way. Like unbuttoning the strap! It’s hard to unbutton. I guess if I used it enough the strap will soften a bit. Snap buttons to reinforce, and also to fix the front cover (which is not attached).
I would recommend this. It is a fantastic radio. Small (not a large radio for the family to sit and listen kind). Portable. Pretty. Solid.

I just unboxed this adorable retro radio/Bluetooth speaker and I’m in love! It’s so cute, very well made I love the weight it has on it, not flimsy at all. The color I purchased was the apricot blush it’s a creamy beautiful color in person. The sound quality is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I was SHOCKED How loud it got, I could litteraly feel the base coming from the back of the speaker and the sound is very crisp! The company put a lot of love into the whole package that you get from the box packaging to the speaker packaging. I’ve been looking at buying this product for about a year and I’m so happy I did! It’s definitely worth the money. I originally purchased it to go in our newly renovated pop up camper but will definitely be using it in my house as well!
