The BlueSENSE TRM connects to media devices using a built-in 3.5mm AUX cord to wirelessly transmit their audio signal to your Bluetooth-enabled headphones & speakers. It brings Bluetooth streaming to older media players.
The Problem It Solves
In today's age of Bluetooth headphones and speakers, we need a way to wirelessly transmit audio from older non-Bluetooth devices. The BlueSENSE TRM adapter achieves that by connecting to your media player using a wired connection and converting the input to a wireless signal for your Bluetooth headset or speaker.
How It Works
If you have been wanting to listen to your MP3 player's music with your new Bluetooth headphones:
- Connect the BlueSENSE TRM to the headphone jack of your MP3 player
- Pair the TRM with your wireless headphones
- Enjoy music wirelessly
Instant Bluetooth Upgrade
Normally, to connect headphones or an external speaker to a media source, you need a wired connection. The BlueSENSE TRM is a rechargeable Bluetooth transmitter that enables wireless streaming from almost any audio source:
- Computers (any PC/laptop w/headphone jack)
- Older MP3 players
- Movie projectors (using AUX output)
Compact and Portable
Dimensions: 1.8 x 1.3 x 0.3 in
Easy To Pair
Simply put your listening device in "Pairing Mode" and press & hold the Power button on the TRM until the LED starts flashing red & blue.
The built-in rechargeable battery lets you enjoy 10 hours of music streaming playback with each 2-3hr recharge (charging cable included).

Another -but minor- annoyance, is the USB charger is not a standard USB cable on both ends. On the device end, it is a barrel plug. So you can't use your other standard USB cables to charge this, you need the one that ships with it.
If you want to watch TV through this, where you can adjust video delay to match audio delay, it'd be just fine. If you're streaming music, or playing recorded audio, then you won't even notice. If you have a headphone jack on your TV and want to stream it to blue tooth headphones, this is probably exactly what you want.
The battery quality is totally satisfactory, but after contacting Go Groove to make sure I wasn't going to damage the device, I now leave the bedroom transmitter plugged in all the time and that arrangement has worked fine for a couple of years now.
It works fine if I keep the same bluetooth headset. I tried to use a different headset to try it out, and it switched to the other one without much trouble, but it had a little trouble switching back- it took multiple tries for them to link...I am not sure why.
A great feature would be to allow multiple headsets to remain linked, and possibly even to use more than one at a time.
Anyway, the sound quality is very good, and other than when we switched, there are no connection troubles.
We plugged the USB power cord into the TV's powered USB port so we will never have to charge it. It is on only when the TV is on, so it won't be charging all the time.
Our next purchase will be more comfortable BT headphones.
If you use the transmitter while powered from the USB connector, and then you disconnect the power cord and then reconnect it, it restarts the transmitter, and you may have to pair it again with the receiver. Anyway, I got the hang of it and it works great. Stereo and sound quality is good to my old ears.
Once this device is paired with a bluetooth headset [or earbuds!!!] this is all you need.
You do not need to "re-pair" all the time, even if the device you are using has BT available.
All you need is the micro-port to plug it in and voila! Magic.
Just a nice addition to life that eliminates hastle, and the time involved, of pairing all the time to a new device.
