I wanted a clean version for a family gathering. First, THIS IS NOT BY ROBIN THICKE. The lyrics don't sound anywhere near as good, but I purchased anyway because the music sounds the same, so I knew my family would dance to it.

I needed to add this clean version to a iTunes playlist. Amazon downloads used to automatically add to iTunes, now that Amazon has a cloud system it is very difficult. I spent over an hour getting it to iTunes!

There is a clean version by Robin Thicke & it is available on Amazon UK! We cannot download it in this country! I suspect this is due to some type of contract stuff with Robin Thicke, so I dont hold Amazon responsible for that.
In the end I still wasn't able to get the song to play due to iTunes match! So bottom line is I purchased the song & can only play it on Amazon cloud. I want all my music in one place, so I'm not interested in another cloud.

It appears that my definition of clean, all unsuitable language removed, is not necessarily what the author had in mind. Perhaps had I not looked at the lyrics first, I may have been ok. For the type of music I enjoy listening to, this is not clean enough for me.

Like it because I LOVE the original song, except for the lyrics. Wouldn't even think about playing the original at the senior center where I teach line dancing, but this one, although still a little sketchy, is a far cry better. The main thing is the beat.

I was looking for a clean version (non-radio edit) to play at my line dance exercise class. This fit the bill.
I like the original version, but it's not appropriate for "all" environments.

I bought the OTHER versiob, which I've told you I hate due to the "sin" and demeaning lyrics. Because I still liked the beat of the music for doing my morning walk, I thought I'd try what I saw was a "CLEAN" version. I don't think it's any better that the "Explicit" version. Thanks for nothing. Wish there was one with just the music. Oh well......glad I just decided to get Marvin Gaye's "Gotta Give It Up".
