Editorial Reviews

Likable Bob (Tom Green) can't hold a job, and alphabetically finds employment using the phonebook. Once in the "B's," he stumbles upon "Butler School" and is soon hired by Anne (Brooke Shields), single mother of 2 and business owner, who desperately needs help. Through trouble ensues, Bob's relationship with the kids leads to an unlikely romance with Anne and a very happy ending.

Came to this movie not exactly liking any of his previous performances. A guy not well suited for the jobs he left way too soon, he devised a way to find one job, JUST one that he wouldn't be fired from. When match with Brooke Shields you have an odd couple that is caught in a cycle of disasters as an attachment grows between two young children who are soon won over. The only thing remaining is to find what kind of sparks between the businesswoman and this 'trying to hard' Bob the Butler!

I frequently watch the movies that are broadcast on the Disney Channel with my two younger daughters and my grandson. Every time they show "Bob the Butler" I try to make sure I'm done with my housework so that I can enjoy it with them. It is a very entertaining movie and my young ones enjoy it very much. That is why I decided to buy it so we could watch it whenever we wanted to. This DVD will definitely get a lot of viewing at our house!

Love it, love it, and oh yes I loved this movie. I found this movie funny, hilarious and morally strong. Great message to deliver to young and older people. I related to this movie because of my grandson and it brought me to tears as I watched the story unfold with the child finding his place in the family and developing a role and a voice that was so moving. Yes, we need more of these kind of film where you don't has to be a rock star to find a role in your family. You just need to have someone to help you to dig deep within your being to find what is good and do it.

this is a pretty good movie.i seen it on dish, and made the purchase.poor bob has had so many jobs it's funny.so why not butler school, and a nice job in the burbs.as a nanny,he can barely take care of a hamster.but after a while the kids warm up to him as does brook shields.so if you like lighthearted movies, this could be it

is it the basic story of the single mom going crazy with works and raising children and the stranger that turns everything around. the only difference is that this is a tom green film. while it is a little more family friendly than his other films, but it still has some very funny moments. i liked this film and i think a lot of people will. just dont expect to see anyone releasing a horse or anything like that. it is a good stocking stuffer type movie.

I don't know why this guy disappeared. I thought he was always pretty funny. This movie is like every other Tom Green movie. Throughout the movie, you are just wondering what he is going to do next. I would recommend this movie.

Hysterical!!!
One of the few movies that actually got a belly laugh from all of us. Of course it is Tom Green!

Great family movie for all ages. If you want an example of a person who never gives up, no matter what the obstacles - here you go. Excellent entertainment with positive messages for youth all the way through.

I would love more movies like this.

This is a movie for the family. Good clean fun for anyone. Including grandma! Definitely a must watch if you like simple comedy and need a break from all the explosions and CG so prevalent in most of today's movies.
