My wife has loved listening to Bob Ross paint his "happy little clouds" and scenes for years and years. She was a student in nursing school, and used to listen to his show to help her relax after a hard day. The thing is, I like to watch him paint. He's awesome, and makes me wish I could do what he did. The way he tells it, he makes me believe I probably could.

I have some of the Joy of Painting DVD's. Now I have two series on my Kindle! They look great and are so convenient to paint along. Much easier when I paint on the patio, to use my kindle for reference.
Even when I'm not painting, watching Bob Ross is emotional therapy!! Lol

This is a great way to calm down after a crazy day. His personality and paintings have a way of taking your mind off of your problems and relieving stress.

Bob Ross was a magical, inspiring, gentle soul. We've spent many wonderful hours watching him. Even for people who many never pick up a paint brush, time spent with the late great Bob Ross is a trip to a magical place where one can create the world they wished they lived in.

As a hobby painter, I picked up a lot of neat techniques from Bob Ross, William Alexander, and the flower painting dude whose name I don't remember through the years. I don't do many landscapes, but the techniques could be applied to my fantasy work and really enhanced it.

I love his finished paintings and love listening to his soft gentle voice. I listen to him right before bed to relax me. Great quality work. He is a very loving person who puts beauty into his work and show.

If you are a Bob Ross fan nothing else will do. He's great. You may giggle and snort ("how many do you want in your little world?") but he's brought the joy of creating to huge amounts of people over the years. Rock on Bob.

used to watch Bob years ago and looked forward to every episode. so glad these are made available again. rip Bob and thank you for all you've done to entertain and teach.
