**Tips for longer life**
--Make sure to give your bottle an extra squeeze 'of just air' with the lid off in an upright position and a paper towel placed over the tip before putting it away, Just squeeze it a tad bit and immediately remove the paper towel. This will prevent the tip from ever becoming clogged.
--Another trick is to use a push pin with a tiny ball on the end pushed into the hole of the dipensing tip on the bottle and then screw the lid on. That way you can pull the pin out before use and it will never be clogged.
--Keep the Cyano in a small plastic bag to lock in most of the vapors and help prevent atmosheric pressure drying. If your bottle is not absolutely airtight then even just a small change in the atmosheric pressure will cause the bottle to 'breathe' which seems to cause it to dry out sooner. Placing the bottle into an airtight plastic bag will lock in the vapor and in turn seems to make it last longer. I do this myself. and get long life out of it. I just used some yesterday that I purchased over a year ago (thin) and it is just as thin as when I bought it.
The short of it:
Well worth the price!!! I have saved so much time and been able to overcome so many work shop woes because of this amazing stuff!
My only gripe is that BSI continues to use a cap that will eventually clog itself up and fill the cap with CA. There's needle caps out there though to fix that.
The glue itself works great, and easily wicks into hard to reach spots or porous materials (airplane guys: great for cracked wood stringers)
I also love using this with the instant activator/catalyst. Not truly instant, more like 1-2 seconds, but still excellent. I own five Bob Smith products and use them all the time. Highly recommended.
