Design Features

  • Сompatible with any 1913 Specification Rail, to include systems that are out of specification (within reason) and this includes Weaver rails.
  • Сompletely tool and user adjustable free. It needs to be 100% self contained and mate securely to any rail without the user having to tailor the pressure/engagement position.
  • Lock with enough pressure to positively attach any device or optical instrument to a rail without movement, static or dynamic forces not withstanding.
  • The rail must not experience any deformation due to user error. This must include synthetic (plastic/polymer/composite) rail systems.
  • Auto Index capability. The unit must always repeat the forward shift (recoil forces direction of influence) not only to maximize zero repeatability, but to take this step of installation out of the users initial mounting sequence. Index must be redundant.
  • The system must incorprate a safety that prevents the lever from being accidentally opened.

Product Description

The bobro precision optic mount for 30mm optics is a heavy duty, zero-repeatable optics mount for your weapon platform. It has a variety of design features, from it's patent pending BLAC lever system, precision CNC machining, and solid construction from a solid block of 6061 T6 aluminum. This mount requires absolutely no user adjustment, will not damage even polymer rail systems, and auto-indexes to the rail, ensuring maximum zero repeatability. The bobro 30mm optic mount is manufactured from a block of 6061 T6 aluminum and mil-spec type III hard coat anodized in matte black.

I had a Armor install the mount, it is holding a Vortex PST-1605 Gen II 1-6x24 scope with laminated radical. The Bobro mount is just extremely great quality and the milling is fantastic! I will be torture testing this later, but impressed with initial results.
