Snake Juice / Electrolyte powder recipe:
Potassium chloride =1 tsp
Sodium chloride (Himalayan Pink Sea Salt) = 1/2 tsp
Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda - I use Red Mill) = 1 tsp
Magnesium Sulphate (food grade Epsom Salts) = 1/2 tsp
Mixed in 2 litres of water.
I don't get constipated, I avoid keto flu and I'm more able to do extended fasts as I'm replacing the electrolytes lost. Product took a couple of days to arrive.

Natriumhydrogencarbonat (Natron) sollte übrigens nicht mit Natriumcarbonat (Soda) verwechselt werden. Was auch oft verwechselt wird ist der Begriff Natriumbicarbonat, welcher häufig immer noch verwendet wird, aber eigentlich falsch ist. Natriumbicarbonat ist ein veralteter Begriff für Natron und NICHT für Soda, obwohl der Name eher dem Natriumcarbonat, also dem Soda ähnelt, deshalb auch die Verwechslungsgefahr. Natron und Soda sind verwandte Stoffe, mit einem kleinen aber feinen Unterschied. Beide Mittel basieren auf Natrium und sind Karbonate, also von Kohlensäure abgeleitete Salze. Der feine Unterschied besteht im "hydrogen”, der Wasserstoffkomponente. Die Formel für Natron ist NaHCO3, wohingegen die Formel für Soda Na2CO3 ist. Beim Natron verbindet sich also das Carbonat mit einem Natriumatom und einem Wasserstoffatom. Beim Soda wird das Wasserstoffatom mit einem weiteren Natriumatom ersetzt. Soda wird auch oft Kristallsoda genannt. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine leichte Abwandlung, bei der das reine Soda in Verbindung mit Wasser kristallisiert.
