Cornstarch is used as a thickener for pies or sauces, or as an ingredient in gluten free baking. It's also widely used in many cake and cookie recipes to produce finely textured baked goods.

Our dense and powdery cornstarch comes right from the endosperm of the corn kernel. Cornstarch is often included in shortbread recipes, where it helps contribute a crumbly and tender texture in the finished product. I just received this today and now I can’t use it because there is a small hole in it since it’s a food item It’s now contaminated! It won’t let me return or ask for a refund so now I’m out of eight dollars and the product is going in the garbage.

It's so hard to find gmo free corn starch. Bobs mill technically can't label their product as gmo free but they get it from a non gmo source according to their website. It's pretty much just as cheap as the other brands for a similar size. It's hard to find in person so i turned to Amazon. The only down side was I had to wait a week for shipping. I did enjoy the fact that it was delivered a day before it said it was supposed to show up though!!! Big bonus points.

I’ve been using this corn starch as body powder for years. It’s an excellent replacement for a talc allergy, and unlike baby powder, this corn starch is unscented. I love that I can buy it in bulk since a case of four bags lasts me about five months, and I appreciate the minimal packaging.
