Not to the purpose of this time spent pecking out a review rather than adding another title to my meager list of Kindle books. Cassie Jennings, a locksmith in a small Minnesota town, stumbles over a dead body while trying to get house ready for market. Enter Detective Martin, a man who left the excitement of a big city police department for the “quiet” small town life, only to find it’s anything but quiet.
Of course Det. Martin and Cassie have the right chemistry to make sparks fly, both romantically and professionally. For some strange reason the Detective thinks he can do his job without Cassie’s help, while Cassie isn’t about to butt out—not when she’s so sure her help is imperative. This make for a very entertaining few hours of reading, and I highly recommend it to all. (Even if you do have to shell out a couple bucks.)
I would like to have rated this book a 4 ½ but had to settle for a 4.
I received the book from the author thru Library Thing in exchange for an honest review.
